Into the Shadow, A Middle Earth RP

Oh crud, I just remembered that I have a beta reading project for someone that I said would be done by August 3rd. And I haven't started it yet... CRAAAAAAAAP...

Ah well, I'm excited to get this RP going! My creative juices are already starting to cook. I think it's going to be fun to see how all our characters interact with each other.

Yeah. I'm right there with you. I already know how my character is going to react to some of the other characters, but my creative juices are just simmering on a low heat.

I'm excited, too! My imagination's going into overdrive, as usual. xD
My creative juices might as well have just been set on the burner, though - I'm recovering from one of the longest bouts of writer's block I've ever encountered. @_@
Hopefully this RP (and the start of school T___T) will help that more, though.

@Rusty: Yeah, writer's block sucks big time. You say school helps with it? Lucky you! Usually school kills all my creativity, especially since a major in biology really doesn't mesh well with writing.

Haha, I'm thinking more that it'll help because it'll be a change. It won't help so much once I'm in the routine.
Usually a change in my everyday stuff gets my creative circulation going, shakes out all the sleeping muscles. ^^

I added rope to my character's gear. I figured it would be nice to have that lovely rope Sam Gamgee took with him from Lothlórien... You know... the light but sturdy silver rope that unties itself according to the wish of the owner? Yeah. That rope.

Hey, I just want to let everyone know that I will be away tomorrow and Wednesday night. I'm spending those nights at my best friend's house, so my access to internet will be limited at best (no wireless there...). If Aesalon posts the IC during my absence, please don't feel obligated to wait for me, as I'll catch up when I return on Thursday.

Sorry folks, weekend was more cluttered than expected - I do have the research portion done though - I just need to write the actual post to set things off.

The IC is officially up - remember that the Trollshaws are moderately dangerous.

I think that you should wait for us slow-pokes at least until everyone posts their introductions. I know you're eager, but I still have to even read through the posts. I have had such crappy work hours this week that I haven't had time for myself, so I still need to read through all of the posts. :: begins to do that ::

@Silvone: Hahaha, I know exactly what you mean about literate people. I've been in a couple of RP's on a different site, and they both ended up dying before we could get anywhere.

@Kathryn: Ouch, crappy work hours suck. But at least now you have something fun to do!

Yeah, as a person who has only ever done Gaia RPs before I am very pleased and impressed with how literate this group is. We're gonna go places, my friends. *epic stance*

I actually love how every one writes in their own style. This is will be a very learning opportunity for us all.
