Ghostbusters Inc. (noncannon) Interest check

This story is non cannon, so if you wanted to play one of the original Ghostbusters sorry. We will be taking elements from the movies and TV shows as well. This will be a 5 man team, Inerio has expressed a desire to make two characters so only 2 spaces are available. The story below is pretty much a rough draft I want everyone involved to have some kind of hand in the final story, and mostly to show the mixture of cannon and noncannon elements I'm looking for.

In 1991 world famous parapsychology Egon Spengler made a prediction that ghost activity would increase over time; and after the major attack in 1998 which was tackled by the original Ghostbuster and the Extreme Ghostbusters, Egon was proven right. Soon after and with the help of business boom, Ghostbusting firehouses began to pop up in every major city in the United States and into Western Europe. Thanks to their great expansion the Ghostbusters added Inc to their name. Now the year is 2045, and the original Ghostbusters are passed into legend, but ghost have a nasty habit of never dieing. Now Ghostbusters come from of every background, though now many of its members include those with considerable talent including top level engineers, top paranormal researchers, occult historian and even those who have shown to have a kind of ghost detection and true psychic ablities. Along with the change in member there have been a considerable change in technology over the years with newer and stranger ghost catching equipment being developed everyday. Something is changing in the world however, and Ghostbusters Inc are tackling more and more powerful ghost everyday. Just last month the entire Las Vegas team disappeared and this is where you and 4 others come in to take over. Ghostbusters Inc co-founder Kylie Griffin was once taken into a future where man and ghost were locked in a constant battle, the Ghost Wars were thought to be avoided but perhaps somethings cannot be avoided.

There is only 3 rules for Ghostbusters:

2. Come back alive.
1. As always never cross the streams.
