I'd also like to mention that the post requirement is only two paragraphs. We put this in casual for a reason. If you are feeling a bit overwhelmed by trying to match the longer posts, don't worry about it! Just write what you want!

Here's the deal... When Hermes and I made the planes, it was pretty much decided that that was logically how things came to exist, but no one knows it. Everyone interpreted creation differently. Even the Quendi who were among the first big group of races don't know it. They have their own deities and whatnot, including their demi-deities who are the semi-sentient trees in that country, but they don't know jack about the group of spirits who really worked to create their beings. They just found something in which to believe - a way to make sense of the world just like humans in our Earth have done.

It was my understanding that Kalon's Avari broke away before the Library's creation, so it could have been comprised of Quendi from all five original territories because the fifth - Enya - was wiped out when the Portal was used by some creatures from the Fire Plane. However, all of their enlightenment and finding their Light deity and whatever could have happened after that. Of course, it's also completely plausible that they broke away after the portal ordeal, but they wouldn't have as many Enya Quendi among them because there were only a handful of them left after the destruction.

Okay, so I also thought that Raptor and I had worked out in the end that time flows faster in the Shadow Plane which would explain why Morgarath does not have to be older than 11,000 years because less time would have passed in that Plane than the Material Plane.

I'm still okay with the Library being created when Morgarath was created or when his Dark Tower was created. I just don't want any power play crap where Morgarath goes up to the Library, throws a spell at it, and demolishes it just because he's been around so long that he's automatically more powerful than ancient spells created by a very large, very eclectic group of powerful sorcerers whose intentions were to protect the library and the portal.

I can understand demolishing the Library after an elongated period of constant spells and manpower being flung at it because hell, things can only take so much before they give way ((just look at the boundary in The Legend of the Seeker)), but it's got some hefty defensive spells in place to protect itself, the Portal, and others who seek a sanctuary of sorts. It just can't attack anyone or anything.

Is everyone okay with that?

Okay... I'm still in the process of catching up with... everything... I have over fifty emails in my inbox, and a lot of them are notifications for a single thread, not several posts in threads... so... give me some time, and I'll get there.

Did I miss anything I need to address?

Alright, so there's this possibility that Caleb will be able to come back. If he does find time, would anyone really have an issue with that? Seeing that we are still pretty early in the story, I personally think it would work, but I wanted to see what everyone else thought.

Sorry for such a delay. I've got trouble on all fronts going down right now. I meant to post several days ago, but my wireless card is bad on my computer, so I am restricted to my phone. My car is giving me trouble, and to top it off I got some lovely chemical burns at work Friday. Sorry to just fly off the handle like this, but I am stressed at all this crap that's jumped at me recently.

It's really no problem. We're still waiting on a couple of people who haven't posted at all yet, so take your time. We are in no rush.

I am very busy this quarter, and so I may slip into inactivity. I probably won't be paying much attention to the OOC's anymore, so if you have something important that you want updated, or something is wrong with my post and you need it fixed, I highly suggest PMing me.

I've got a few hours to kill, so I am going to start my next post on my phone since my wireless card on my computer is still haywire. I will reply to as much as I can, and will see if the finished product looks acceptable after I get it all done.

Alrighty, everyone, I took the liberty of combining all the maps free-hand. Everything has a nice, unified look, now, and the proper scale has been preserved. In addition, everything should be in good working order, topographically -- with the mountains and rivers and how it all works in real life. I even re-sized some of my island features to match. ^^

I have a larger version in for Ryona to turn into the world map, but I figure this simple, small-size one will be beneficial to everyone as well.

A quick update on my situation...
I've got a 3 day drill weekend starting tomorrow, and while all I'll have is my phone, I will have a lot of spare time to devote to my next post. For some reason it takes us 3 days to qualify with an M4...
Anyway, I have been making notes on everything I wanted to post, but as far as OOC goes, everyone please assume that my characters are still standing along the wall, whispering little bits back and forth, mainly Nilus telling Naomi what details he knows about the other dignitaries in the room.
