Post-Apocalyptic Biker Gang RP

I haven't gotten much more than a sudden flash of inspiration, so I am largely winging it, but the setting is something like forty or so years after an apocalyptic event, probably a biological weapon/pandemic that results in a massive depopulation; much like the Black Death in Europe, but far worse. Afterward, there was a nasty series of brutish wars between the survivors for control that killed any chance for recovery to civilization as we would recognize it. This futile fight over who got to rule the ashes, rubble and dust destroyed what little infrastructure and society that was left.

Perhaps, in its way, it's a setting themed along the lines of Stephen King's "The Stand," David Brin's "The Postman" or the "Mad Max" franchise. There's certainly a rich variety of other works that I leave out.

In its place is a series of salvager village-states, and nomadic groups that live off what they can find and keep moving for safety but fighting with other groups for what little they manage to scrape up.

The characters would be part of the same gang. I haven't worked everything out, but this is enough to post an interest check on. Yes, we'd be playing the rotten raiders that get a bad rap in most of the fiction in this genre.

I am definitely in for this.

Post-Apocalypse is probably my favorite genre to write.

But in the post-apocalyptic world, sin is in like Flynn.

I'm fine with being a sinner. It was either that or just making a whore in generl. Pfft, I'll probably make that. How many characters can we have? I have two in mind.

I'm not usually tight about running things and making people toe the line, so I don't think two is a problem.

Besides, if you decide you're done with a character, we can always whack 'em out.

My track record isn't bad so far on threads that I actually start, as in the first post gets done. We'll see though. I have one that seems to have stalled out around thirty, and another going strong.
