Good idea! As soon as I get reliable internet I will add all of our characters to the ship list, perhaps even forgoing the character list. Have not decided on that yet. Hoping to have internet tomorrow, but there is the slight issue of them mailing me the modem and me not having a key for the mailbox for the next three days... :/

Oooh. That's a very good point. If you link their names in the ship information, there won't be any need for the list in the first post. =3

I took Silv's laptop to my grandmas and tried working on it, and was almost done when...the laptop randomly highlighted everything and erased. -_- Me thinks I will just wait until I get my desktop ready. Sorry

Don't be sorry Ryona, it happens. I hate that feeling of losing everything you've worked so hard to write. Oftentimes, the second attempt just doesn't feel as good either, and some of your motivation is killed. I'm patiently awaiting your return and the jump start to this RP.

Man... That does suck... Did typing CTRL+Z not bring it all back? I hate that feeling, too, when all of my work just goes away because of an accidental click or something. It's why I feel an overwhelming need to type everything up in Notepad or Word before typing it into a browser. Usually, if something awful happens, Word will save a bit/most of the work typed into it.

Yea, since it was just altering code and not a post I didn't bother with that, grrr. And it replaced everyone with a space rather than cutting it, which was even lamer haha. It was just some organization stuff, at least I didn't ruin what is currently up.

Anyone heard from Hello Danger? I can't post until after he.

I totally understand that. I started writing my posts up in word as well. I was tired of the page timing out, or other misfortunes. Finally, I wised up and decided that cutting and pasting wasn't as bad as losing everything.

Ryona, that is lame, but you're right about the silver lining being that the original information wasn't lost.

Unfortunately, I haven't heard even a peep from Danger. =(

Ryona, is the Great Break closer(in regards to its location off the map) to Mathyr, Ton or Pern? I'm 'planning' the route in my post, so I'm trying to decipher it.

Consider it closest to Pern, though I imagined it arching slightly. Pern is still the closest. There are no real distances written down, but make it a fair ways off the coast of Pern.

Hrm....then I must delay our pirates, or else we're gonna be hitting it waaayyy sooner than everyone else.

If you're gonna dance with a bigger beast, then you best know where it's gonna be stepping. Describe your days, dear pirates(feel free to make crew scruffles, and whatever else pleases your drunken hearts) but come nightfall, the Captain will be speaking with the two of ya for some...planning.

Hope it's good. The navy raid(thanks Kathryn) will give us some action soon, just gotta get to it.

I'm going to read it in the morning...I can't wait! Well, obviously I can...but I want to be able to read it with my eyes open, so yea.

I just realized that if I am continuing without HD, I am going to be role playing by myself... Any thoughts as to WTH to do about that, please enlighten me.

Ryona, there are a couple of options for you of which I can currently think.

1. One of the two ships we have could end up meeting with the Jolly Possum. One of them could either take over the other ship, or maybe something happened to the Possum, and the crew allows all or part of the damaged ship's crew to tag along. I can definitely see them taking Dyna due to both her natural abilities and her learned ones.

2. Maybe one of the two other ships meet the Jolly Possum and decide to tag along with the treasure hunters rather than the crew they signed on to join.

Also, we'll want Sailing Master Mosey added to the list of pirate NPC's. I can add it if you want, but I feel weird editing posts without a direct request ((especially since you internet is now stable)) since this is something you're actually running and not a fun little anarchy like the book club. ^^_^^;;

I'll add the NPC after I read the post (which I will donow, so long as Taeo stays asleep lol).

As for leaving the Jolly Possum...I don't really want to yet, which is completely selfish and dumb but true. SIlvone offered to run Chance for me, but I'm going to see if I can find someone else to join (unless someone from the albatross or fasar's hoard wants to hop ships, but I think you guys have a good thing going).

Edit: Read and NPC added. The only reason I ask to do it myself is it forces me to read through each post attentively, and remember the characters better. If ever I am absent though, and something needs to be edited here, you can do it and just let me know via PM that you have

I'd be willing to join forces if they don't come back. The way I see it Alphonsus is willing to do just about anything (except hurting innocents) to get to the Irinen first.

If I can't find someone to join the Possum, here are the options I've given myself:

1. Carry the NPC myself, and essentially be role playing on my own. Kind of boring.

2. Have Silvone carry the NPC for me, less boring, but Silvone is busy.

3. Cross paths with the Pirates and get captured. This is cool, but I'll be losing the Jolly Possum and if Hello Danger returned, he'd have to come up with a crazy story of somehow surviving.

4. Cross paths with the Merchant ship, and join forces. Same problem as above.

What does everyone like best? Is there a variation of one of the above options you'd like to mention?

So you don't see anyone being able to join the Jolly Possum instead of Dyna joining one of the other two ships? I don't see it happening with the pirates at all because they'd just do the capture ((which is totally fine by me)), but if you're worried about losing the Possum, Artorius offered to join it.
