We Are One Revised Interest Check

It's the year 2040 and the world has not changed much from our own. However one thing never changes, Century city is plagued by crime. Sure Downtown has one of the best club scenes in the country (never mind they are run by the most feared gangsters in the city), and several miles away there is Thunder Roll National Park. (Great for hiding bodies.) But the docks are a breeding ground for viruses (both medical and societies) and Hell's Waiting Room can be mistaken for a war zone. But for several decades now that has begun to change. Not just in Century city but the entire world a rise of people with extraordinary powers. They are few in numbers, with many towns and cities not having anyone with these gifts. Places like Century city however seem to attract these heroes. That’s right. Heroes.

Despite the power they posses many have decided to use their powers for good. Criminals are running and crime in places even as bad as Century city has been going down. These people are bringing hope to the world with their acts or bravery and their power being used for good. The people seem to believe that all those gifted with powers have gone to those of the most steadfast morality. Or perhaps the ones using powers for their own gain have just been that quiet.

The heroes do have one great flaw however, they never work together. Weather it’s pride or distrust, or maybe it’s a simple matter of competition. Whatever the reason they must find their way around it because a new evil is coming from Empire City, and whispers from the cities people claim that it has killed their heroes. But they whisper, because it is common knowledge that this force has full control of city and now its bored and has it’s eyes set on a new target. Century city.

This is a role play Plague and I had joined before. The version before this was off to a great and fast start but the sudden and unfortunate departure of a GM knocked the RP off its rails. (You can see the fun we had here. ) Plague and I had such a good time with the role play we'd like to bring this roleplay to the those who may have missed the chance to be apart of the last version as well to those who are new to the site.

I've been gone from FOG for a while; I figure this sounds like an interesting RP. Count me in, Squall.

I'm interested, although it depends on how long this takes to get started. Will we all be playing heroes, or are villians an option?

Depending on how many show interest we will be dividing between good and evil. Myself and Plague will be playing two of the baddies. But remember the baddies will be under the banner of my character. The villains are already united while the heroes are the ones who have not formed into a group. With 7 people so far I think we may go with 4 heroes and 3 villains (with me and Plague having two of those spots). I am also giving this interest check another few hours before putting up the OOC.

Okay, I'll keep those things in mind, I'm interested in playing one of your villians.
