On December 1, 2012 a young girl of age 13 just outside of Phoenix, Arizona disappears in the middle of the night. The news reports it as just another kidnapping but within the next few weeks the same thing starts to happen all over America and soon, the entire world. Women, men, and children are reported just “disappearing” in the cloak of night and not being found. These were the ones chosen for Project: New Eden...

Over 3% of the world’s population is missing within the next two weeks. The weeks fallowing a virus hit in South Africa were people were reported to drop dead on the spot but animals are unaffected. Soon the virus hits in other major areas including Venice, New York City, and Moscow. By December 21, 2012 every human on the face of the earth had died.

Multiple times in the earth’s history had a higher life force warned the humans of their potential and if they fallowed in the direction they were going they would destroy the Earth and this was unallowable. The Mayans and other tribes around the world were given the warning due to their ability to live with nature and not destroy it like the industrializing Europe and Asia. These tribes were unsuccessful however for soon after they were concurred and their knowledge left untold.

The world continued in its destructive ways creating pollutants, destroying trees, polluting the water, endangering animals. The higher life force, wise as they were, had predicted correctly, the humans would continue on in their ways if no immediate action was taken. Thus Project: New Eden had begun.

The higher life force chose only the healthiest and most likely to survive for their project. These “chosen ones” were then cryogenically frozen for a million years in order to allow the earth to “mend itself”.

All the technology man had created was soon covered in plant life and ravished by natural disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes, and earthquakes. Animals and plant life both evolved over the time period most looking nothing like they did before while humans still inhabited.

Finally, on January 1, 1 N.E. (Exactly one million years after December 21, 2012) a spacecraft was given the mission to redeliver the human race back to the earth. The human race was spread in groups of 500 across the entire Earth.

You are part of group 115, who was dropped in the area once known as San Francisco, California. You are given the task to survive. Herein you will be forced to learn how to survive without the former necessities the human race was blessed with. You will have to resort back to tribal times were you must create tribes, spears, families and ultimately repopulate the human race. Will you survive? Or be one of the many who will fall.

Name: Phillip Slade

Position: Hunter/Warrior

Back-story: Mid-Western Boy. Grew up in Colorado. He only had a few close friends. He graduated high school about a month before the abduction . He had a girlfriend that just happened to dump him after graduation. His parents got a divorce about a week later. He took this all pretty hard. Two day after doing nothing and sitting in his room he went to a shooting range and took his .45 and a recurve bow and started shooting. He was able to bulls-eye every shot after a week of practice.

Things that make you an asset: Strong and intellectual. A good hunter due to his stealth and cunning. Has very good aim with a firearm and any bow. He is considered to be a deadly weapon.

Personality: Strong willed, kind, listens when needed, quiet.

Other things we should know about you: Doesn't talk much due to the trauma before the initial abduction

This looks pretty sick, would our characters have knowledge of the previous Earth or would they just be dropped into the wilds expected to survive?

They would have knowledge of everything.

Basically think of it like this: One night you go to sleep and when you wake up your naked in a rain forest surrounded by 500 other people wondering "Wtf just happened"

Basically each group of humans was dropped off and given basic supplies: A few weeks worth of food and water, clothing, a few minimal human-made items such as knives, and a briefing informing of what has happened."

The aliens also decided to use the different groups of humans as psychological experiments giving each group a different item from the past. Our group will be tested upon greed and corruption and in our crate of basic man-made items 3 fully loaded magnums will be placed to see how it effects the group as a whole.

Back-story: Grew up in Alberta, Canada with a divorced family and quite a few pets. Was always very high up in her classes.
Things that make you an asset: Intellegence and determination.
Personality: Very chatty and kind. Can be very stubborn at times, and has a tendency to complain.
Other things we should know about you: She has a love of reading and writing, making her a very usefull data keeper, like lists and important information.

As many as wish to join. The capacity is 500 which I doubt will be reached.

I plan to start the RP at 5 people. (needs to more) So spread the word :O

Back-story: Grace had never done much with her life. She graduated from high school in the middle of her class with a few friends and little else. She didn't really get into colleges, so she stuck around her hometown, working a few dead end jobs and taking the odd community college class. She eventually found a man she liked and the two were living together when Grace decided to go back to school to become a nurse. She was halfway through her degree program when she found out she was pregnant. She considered dropping out, but never had the chance to decide because she was taken.

Things that make you an asset: Grace has always put others before herself, even to the point where it hurt her. She's a nurturer, someone who loves to take care of others. She also has decent medical knowledge, although she's by no means a doctor, not even a certified nurse. She's also two-and-a-half months pregnant with the next generation. She can also work her way around the basics of cooking and sewing.

Personality: Kind and considerate, sweet. She's rather differential, letting others take charge. That is, unless it involves hurting others, then she'll put her foot down and transform into the most stubborn creature in existence.

Other things we should know about you: Well, like I mentioned, she's pregnant.
