He wouldn't! He'd just hide from you until he got to know you. He looks like he owns everything but he's a shy kitty.

Unless it's dogs. Then he mauls them. He's a big kitty. And likes surprise pouncing dogs.

Ziggy is soooo adorable!!!

So I thought it was about time I updated everyone on the puppies situation. All 11 of them have found homes - none of them are going to be raised/used as hunting dogs either - with some having to travel by air or train to arrive at their new home. I'm sure that would have been a bit of an exciting experience for them!

As for 2 of the puppies, well, we decided to keep them. A female and a male - Tessa and Napoleon. Tessa looks like her father and Napoleon resembles a tiger. The pics might be a little big but my editing program is being silly so hopefully they won't be too bad. The pups have just turned 13 weeks and we've been taking them to puppy preschool.











And of course there's plenty more where those came from but I think that's a pretty good update for now!

How gorgeous. And Tessa really has the sweetest face!

They are soooo cute! I love that first picture of them. It's wonderful. They're going to be so beautiful when they finish growing. They're already lovely.

This thread is so bittersweet for me. I want so badly to have a dog (but I'm just not at that point in my life yet). :< Your animals are both gorgeous and so freaking adorable!

I'm the same way, Fate. I really want to have a dog, but I need to get myself established at grad school and make sure I have enough funds and the proper living situation to support one. But I love seeing pictures of everyone else's wonderful pets!

Those puppies are so cute! Oh my, oh my. And I love the first picture too. How they are playing and hanging on each other. :3

Digital ~ Tessa is definitely a little poser, I think it's nearly impossible for me to take a photo of her and have it come out bad.

Kathryn ~ I am so looking forward to seeing them grow into adults. Already it's exciting to leave for a day or two, come back and see how much they've grown in that small space of time.

Fate ~ Up until we got Maximus which was - as hard as it is to believe - over 7 years ago we never had a dog. It's amazing how big the step actually is. So much changes once you introduce an animal into your home, especially when they become a part of the family too.

Silvan ~ It's good that you're waiting, even if it is hard to do. I'm sure that when you do finally bring one home you'll forget all about the years you spent waiting and wishing.

Dagger ~ That picture always makes me smile. Napoleon is right in the middle of tackling Tessa to the ground so it's not as cute and innocent as it seems. They get into play fights all of the time. He's a bully but she always gets him back for it.

I'll be sure to pass along all of the compliments.

Remember the kitten I rescued a few months back? He's bigger now. And has a name!

Her mother abandoned her. We believe she just ''missed'' her when she was carrying her kittens off.

Ah I see. Poor kitty. ;_; I'm glad you're taking care of her!

Wow that is pretty sad. Something similar happened to my dog, although her mom didn't forget her, she died. I swear I felt like I was hearing the biggest tragedy of my life when I went to go buy her at a private kennel.

It may be alot of work now, my dog was like a realy baby when it was that young, but believe me, that cat is going to love you more than any other cat or ever will! You're Sookie's mom now!

Lol, I understand. This is far from the first animal me or my grandmother have ever bottlefed. Most of them we find homes for, but Sookie's gonna' stay lol.

Awww...Sookie's so cute! Actually, cute doesn't even begin to describe it. I hope you'll post more pictures as she gets bigger!

My new goldfish, Michio! I got him for free after having worked the carnival with the people running the goldfish game. Which was basically beer pong for goldfish XD.
