Another Message.

I want to try a role play about someone who meets another person online, and is consumed by their obsession for this person. I would want one person to be the online persona, and the other role player to be the obsessed one. The RP would be focused on their relationship, and the impact that the internet has on people. I'm not looking for a happy, go lucky RP either - I want it to be rather serious and heavy themed.

This would be a little tricky to pull off properly, I think, as I only want one character (the obsessed one) to be shown in daily life, and I would want the online persona to only connect with that character through their online interactions. I think that it can be done, though, if the player who plays the online character plays all the little side bits as well.

I would prefer to play the online persona, but this is most definately open to change. Just ask!

Hmm...this...I like this idea. My only question is how creepy/abnormal am I allowed to make my character. I do not plan to make him a pyschopath but I want to make him noticably different from a normal mind.

I'm totally okay with that, as long as it stays in the relms of the possible. I want this to be something that COULD happen.

Well, I was thinking along the lines that he has a social life. He has freinds but he has trouble really engaging with them as they talk about things he dosen't have an interest in. I was thinking of him being a word freak who has a series of dictionaries in his house and hes rather fond he sitting in the dark and writting riddles and tongue twisters, he also into poetry.

He dosen't play video games and keeps to a more isolated series of hobbies although he goes online and occasionally plays chest or shears word art with others in a forum named "scrabble" Hes wrongly suspected of being volatile, not because he seems violent but because he seems to be nervous easily when alone and not hanging on someone arms. He somewhat socially co-dependent on others since he so not used to having someone to talk to in a meaningful level and as such dosen't really have much experience speaking up about what he cares about-or has real feelings for-
