Life has not made a superior change from what it is now, beyond the simple things like cell phones and computer technology, advancing to be more compact and efficient. But one great change has occurred.

Dream-Port:
A video game system that creates a whole other world within a virtual reality. To play, one wears a headset that covers the eyes with a wide band that conducts light and minuscule shocks to induce the brain into theta waves, allowing for an alternate reality to be created. The headset draws back around and into the ears, and then has two cords that go down into a small semi-choker like bracer that fits against the back of the neck to keep vitals.
This game system has become a great leap to the changes we could only imagine.

But with every game system, comes the major game that makes it.

Siege:
Siege replicates the whole world, and depending on where the player is, determines where they will be inside the game.
After a biochemical weapon was launched upon America, most humans were annihilated, and many animals too. Survivors broke into two species.

Human survivors mostly remained unharmed; but animals and plants reacted badly, just as some humans. These creatures morphed and were genetically altered, slowly turning into vicious fiends...

Ten years after the 'Apocalypse', as many would call it, is when this game takes place. Nature is beginning to reclaim the popular cities of the world, and the monsters are running more rampant than ever.

So the question is;
can you survive?

Sum-up:
Amaya is a shy and sensitive woman. Always having been quiet and kept to herself, she hides a more fun and tactical side of her that comes out in both her writing and game-play. But when the game Siege came out, she and her boyfriend began to play. But as the virus began to conquer through the game, her boyfriend disappeared.

In one week, Amy has lost hope about her friends and lover, and now seeks only survival, however she can come upon that.
