Broken Remnants

What would you do if you woke up one morning and everything was blank? No memories. No recollection of ever having existed. Nothing. A hospital band suggests your name, an address, a telephone number. But what is a suggestion compared to the truth? People who call themselves family smile around you, but they look nothing like you. Hold no resemblance, much less recognition. Save for one. A woman who passes by your room, you only half glance at her out of the corner of your eye. She’s dressed like a nurse, but looks nothing like one. Like a bad actor, playing the wrong part.

Who is this woman? And why does it seem like every time you ask questions, no one wants to answer?

“Broken Remnants” is an idea inspired by a dream that I had referencing to several books I’ve read and several movies I’ve seen.

Basically your character ((PARTICULARLY MALE)) wakes up from a coma but nothing and no one looks familiar. They feel like they don’t belong and the story they’re feeding you about some car accident doesn’t feel right. After a brief run in with my character - the said mysterious nurse - we break you out of the hospital and so begins our adventure! I don’t want to give away my entire plot just yet but our story will take place in two different worlds. Our world, and then Emoria - a world of ancients. Emoria is a place that brings together the idea of vampires, lycans, faeries, warlock/ witches, and nephilim. Demon’s are more or less soulless creatures who wreak nothing but havoc and are not entirely a race you want to run into. They’ve been banned from Emoria but every now and then they break the barriers and seep through - in which they are supposed to be killed.

Initially there is a conspiracy that could tear apart the treaty that has bound the five races together for generations. Already sparks are starting to fly and small wars are breaking out around the world. The vampires versus the lycans, the warlocks versus the fair folk, everyone is skeptic as to why this is occurring but even more since everyone is so wrapped up in their separate wars the ever growing number of appearing demons has gone unchecked. The nephilim, however, seem to be the only one’s who have noticed and have taken up arms to defend themselves, yet feel a stronger force is at play here.

But what does this have to do with your character? Quite a lot actually. More will be unveiled throughout the RP. ^_^

If the seat hasn't been sold, I'd like to get involved in something! As I tend to do in role-plays that aren't completely high fantasy, I'd like playing the role of myself. That way, I can get a better feeling of what's going on and have a more personal reaction to the story.

That is, unless the seat is taken.

Hm, I could possibly make it an open RP. I didn't actually think it would get all that much interest. However it would have to start with just two characters and once I gave the ok everyone else could come join in?
