I deleted the last post because I didn't like it AT ALL. I just didn't like what I made Zephyr say, which had to do with the fact that naked tactics were uncalled for.

This is exactly why I want Zephyr dead. If the character isn't yours from the start then it's harder to play it.

So, for this RP, where should we go next? Markus just can't stop playing all his moves on her but made a valid point about leaving Tula or end up dead. I suggest we find horses and get the hell out.

Yeah, going to get horses would be good idea. Lol. Then they can get moving out. Maybe when they get out something happens to that city to make Aminah a little thankful to have gotten out, even with a man like Strider.

Well.. Tula is a miserable place to live. It's economically unstable cause of the other kingdoms it trades with are using those goods to help support their wars.

I'll leave the part of getting out of Tula up to you. I'm sure Amy's boss will be none to happy that she let Markus run off. It isn't like Markus is going to care all that much for a woman that is going to write him off as a work hazard. I don't think her boss explained how much of an asshole the man she saved is.

I didn't really think much about it. She could become a mercenary/thief and work along side Markus as his partner. One of their jobs could carry them up north or something and then they get caught up in the middle of war between kingdoms and are forced to pick a side at some point.

I've got nothing else to do really today.. Riv'nar is on hold and probably is a good thing if it's on standby for the rest of the month so people can get things sorted out. Gives me more personal RP time with you.

Okay, so since I love making tons of characters (Lol!) I thought I'd bring up this idea.

What if they choose, and gain a third companion? I think a cocky and justice-fulfilling Knight ought to be interesting. Something temporary or maybe long term; someone who creates conflict and ushers them to a good cause until they themselves have the goal in mind...

I don't know how that kind of character would even enter into their party. Markus would probably get really pissed and want to skin the man alive in his sleep that very night.

True. It would be funny. Or, another interesting character concept for a temporary third; would be like a beautiful Priestess or something, a Healer even. One who would be an obvious asset to the two, and yet someone to draw Markus' attention. It would make Amy want to skin her alive in her sleep XD

I think we should have links to all these other characters in the first post in OOC so we can easily find them in this thread. I don't like searching through pages of chit chatting just to find a profile.

No problem at all. Glad you like the idea, because I've already got a person in mind. I'll bring her in later, when they get a little further along. Maybe when they get the merc job to escort a group of people up north, maybe the Healer is one of them.

I suppose that could happen in Dorel. I kind of want to take our time getting there and have Amy and Markus get use to one another, possibly see one another in a different light, like as business partners or something.

Cause each inch on that map is 45 miles. 45 miles on horse back will make getting to Dorel a few days ride.

I would like to say that I made that map. Sadly, I found it in Google Image search.

I have, however, found a way to make my own maps through some guy's technique videos. The dude has like 50 videos!! So I have plenty of reference material to play around with and see what kind of maps I can make. I certainly will not stop making my first sample map until it is not only completed but remarkable in design.

lol I can't map make worth a poo. I have NOTHING except for perhaps Paint to do it in anyway. Sad thing? I've got a year of College Level Graphic Design training X( lol

I have 2 years of college level graphic design training. My problem is I always seem to find the most complicated way to do things and try and do it when there is a way that makes things 10 times faster.

I'm going to see how much I can expand on this guy's technique to suit my fantasy/medieval map making needs. I think I can even take parts of his technique and create texture for portraits.

For example, I'm sure you know Kalon does portraits here on FOG for everyone. Your avatar was made by him (I have the image saved on my computer for reference material purposes) and with some of this guy's map making tricks I could possibly add chain mail patterns to portraits to make it look like I did chainmail on a portrait for hours.

This is something Kalon can't do cause he doesn't have Photoshop (unless he got it recently without me knowing). He uses some other programs that are more pixel exact than Photoshop, but not anywhere close to as powerful.

I haven't started an Art Shop here on FOG cause I've been wrapped up in RPing to much lately. King of Fighters is moving slowly, Riv'nar is on hold, even Kalon's RP on Gaia Online is practically on hold. I don't have any other RPs but this one that I'm really all that active in. As a result, I have enough free time open to work on maps, portraits, and furthering my artistic skills in Photoshop by practicing other people's techniques and then modifying them or blending them together with another technique to suit whatever needs I need them for.

I'm not dogging on Kalon at all. He is good at making portraits, but I haven't really seen anything else from him. I don't really count his maps art cause of how choppy they sometimes look; which is fine for their purpose anyways. I just would like to see some of his other graphic work than fake Fire Emblem portraits.

I am more into the whole Illustrator scene, as I'd like to be able to further my knowledge into comic book characters and construction of things like that. I do a lot of art in my spare time, I just don't have a scanner so no one on FOG ever sees it lol. A lot of time, I do portraits of my characters, but no one sees them lol.

I can't draw by hand but there are enough things that I wish I could scan onto my computer to use in Illustrator or Photoshop but never actually have the chance to cause I don't have a scanner. As a result, I'm limited to the bullshit of Google Image search. I hate my life sometimes.

I suppose I should get a damn job, buy a scanner, and solve that problem. First step: get a job! XD

You might want to link all the character profiles in the first post. That way we can easily find profiles to important characters that we made profiles for. Just an idea.
