Dark Fantasy/Dark Sci-Fi/Gothic?

Hi, it's me. I'm not exactly decided on what I want, but I want something dark. Something aside from the usual stories of light and happiness. I want something wicked and horrific yet well done. Dark fantasy is a good one I'd like to look into, and maybe a Dark Sci-Fi, or a steampunk. I possibly have several ideas floating about in my head, but I want to see some interest first, hopefully. Below are the things I like, and require, in a one on one partner.

~ Romance (I really like romance, but it's not my first basis. It's something I like later in a roleplay to create drama within a story-line's main flow)
~ Action: Violence, realism, danger, emotion; etc. I want things to be good. Realism even in fantasy; this means that no character can really be dispassionate or constantly nonchalant. I want something interesting. Action surpasses violence too my dearies. Action means ''edge of your seat'', be it by verbal confrontation or an ironic climax, or bla bla bla. Get the picture?

You have yourself an interested partner madam. Fanasty and Sci-Fi are my own personal favorite genres, and I am growing tired of frilly happy stories where everyone lives and life goes on with a happy ending. I want something gritty, something with an evil side. I hope I have found it here.
