Fact!
None of my fingernails have those little whitish moons in them.

Fact: I let me hair grow long and look kinda like a hippie now.

Kalon, those white moons are a sign of ill health. Be glad you don't have them.

Fact:

The only finger nails of mine that have the white moons at the base are my thumb nails.

Fact: All of my fingers (almost) have those white spots on them. Does this mean I'm dying!!!???!!!

Oh wait... I just grabbed my palmistry book, which is where I learned about it, and I guess I didn't remember it as well as I had thought.

Expert Tip
Are the half-moons visible at the base of the nails? Visible moons are a sign of good health, unless they are very large, in which case they can indicate health problems. Very pale or absent moons indicate someone whose health may be affected by circumstances, such as always getting colds when feeling under pressure.

Sorry if I freaked anyone out. I think the reason I remembered it as a sign of ill health is because my step-dad has the large half-moons, and he has a heart murmur, so yeah... Unless your half-moons are overly large, I'm sure you're fine. Even then, it wouldn't necessarily mean you're dying.

I could never get into Tarot cards like my mother, but palmistry has always fascinated me.

Fact: I have always wanted to try tarot cards. I didn't because I thought it would frighten my mother.

I have been recruited to another forum game.

Tarot cards are really fascinating, but they were just too complicated for me. It could be argued that palmistry is also complicated, but Tarot cards are just hellishly so. I could never really direct my energy into it enough, either. I'm not the greatest at clearing my mind and concentrating on one thing.

My mother was always very open with things. She considered herself to be a Christian, but she wasn't like... a hardcore believer who felt that all other religions were bad and such. She's the one who got me into studying other religions because she had a book on paganism than I read when she finished it, and I realized that other religions ((and consequentially, other cultures)) are so fascinating. I love hearing stories about other cultures from people who experience them. <--- Fact.

Fact: I also love reading up on other religions. It's a hobby of mine, right next to philosophy.

Fact: My minor is in Religious Studies

Fact: My minors are in History and Music.

Fact: I have no declared minor yet. I don't know what to pick up for it either. I was thinking writing but if that's a hobby I don't really want it to become work...

Fact: I was going to major in music, but decided against it for that same reason.

Fact: I was watching all the Indiana Jones movies that I own and was reminded that my favorite one is the last crusade. Connery rocks in that movie!

I was going to major in chemistry, and then I switched to digital media, before finally landing in anthropology and wondering if I shouldn't have stuck with one of the others...

Fact: I have to read 10 books this semester for classes and I am excited about reading them. Some of the highlights are the Republic by Plato, Leviathan by Hobbes and some other books that I can't remember at the moment.

Fact: I should put the Republic on my reading list.

Fact: I chew on the inside of my lip when I'm nervous, anxious or bored.

Fact: I clench my jaw when I'm sick, resulting in massive pains after a few days. I seriously can't chew anything because my teeth or loosened or something.

Fact: My leg twitches when I am board or excited when sitting down but never while I am walking which is a good thing because then I would fall on my face!

Fact: My leg does that too.

Fact: I have Animal Planet on when nothing else is on TV that interests me... meaning most of the time.

Fact: The history channel used to be my favorite station until they focused to much on aliens and Cryptozoology. Now ABC is because of Castle and Scrubs.

Fact: History Channel has too much religion and not enough history these days, at least for me. Animal Planet is now adding too many "ghost" and "survival" programs, some of which have nothing to do with animals. Subfact of this fact: I don't like ghosts, survival, or religion programs!

Fact: I hardly watch television at all these days.

Fact: I like to make random banners for anything.

Fact: Most of the time I am actually thinking about nothing, which for some odd reason every single girl I've dated refuses to believe. Every single one thinks I must be thinking about something intense because apparently I have intense and thoughtful expression on my face apparently. And I can't see what the hell their talking about then I get all paranoid and for a few days I am actually thinking all the time.

Fact: I have started reading Plato's Republic and am fascinated by the rhetoric style teaching that was used back in those days. Now it is easy for me to see that some people would only learn to be good at asking questions back then and not actually know anything. It was a short cut around learning the hard way through debate but I think that debate is one of the best ways to learn.

Fact: I now want a copy of Plato's Republic to read...

@Hisoka - That's hilarious! And true! Women's minds always have 6 or 7 things running through it. We multi-task quite naturally. Men, however focus far more narrowly. So when they say they aren't thinking of anything, it may literally be true.

Don't let it make you paranoid. You're just a normal guy.

Fact: I think like a guy... nothing goes on in my head unless a random thought happens. Then it chills with me. I don't even think about it... it just happens.
