Ok, maybe that's a bit melodramatic. One of your newest members pointed me this way when I mentioned a deep, abiding need to write with others that not only love to RP, but can actually string more than a few coherent sentences together for a fun story-telling session. Bless you Styion!

I've been role-playing and writing for...uh...a long time. Don't ask me how many years, I get confused at my age, you know. But, I'm actively working on a series of books, a screenplay and some magazine articles and need some practise...which I look forward to getting here.

I can't wait to jump into it!

Awwww... don't worry a thing about the dramatic entrance. As a matter of fact, I'm getting sentimental right now, just looking at your beautiful kitty avatar. He/she looks almost exactly like a cat I had years ago - the best, most wonderful kitty ever. I miss her... *sniffles*

Dio & Abe Lincoln, Party IV

So now it was new year's day, Dio and Abe were entertaining some guests at the White House. The year, currently, was 1959, and the party so far was going fantastically well. All of a sudden, a young pager boy by the name of Ragte rushed in and cried out "the british are coming, the british are coming!" then he promptly passed out.

"Egads, we must do something about this!" Dio cried triumphantly, looking to Abe whom nodded his approval. "Come Abe, we ride!" Dio shouted, running outside and climbing onto his horse called Stan. Likewise, Abe went over to his own horse called Dave and got on. "Onwards Dasher!" Dio exclaimed and off they went to fight off the British.

When they got to where the british were invading, they saw alligators, lots and lots of alligators. "It seems the british are alligators! we need lightning!" Dio exclaimed, clapping his hands. When he clapped his hands, the skies opened up and lightning struck down the alligators where they were. "We're safe!" Dio exclaimed, then threw himself into Abe's arms and gave him a manly kiss.
