Gentlemen and Ladies

I feel as though I should introduce myself. Some of you may have knowledge of me from the RPGateway forums under this same name. For those not in the know, my name is Washington Ryan Prescott, though you're welcome to call me Washington.

I received an invitation to this forum over RPGateway. I'd been kind of...disappointed by that site for a while (far too many boring copypasta emo characters and teenage romance RPs), so the opportunity to try out this more discriminating RP site was a welcome opportunity. Having browsed a few excellent topics already, hopefully the future will be just as bright.

I'm a bit of a city survivalist and I plan on joining the Canadian Army once I am finished high school. So, I really enjoy disaster-type RPs, and sometimes military stuff. I'm really into dark Cosmic Horror stuff too. I've found my old Kult book too and really want to do something like that soon.

So, thanks for the invite and hope we can do something interesting.

I'm happy that you've decided to follow the invitation here. I know what that can be like to be surrounded by those common types of role-plays. I hope that you find this place better to your liking.

The role-plays you described that you like sound really interesting. I've yet to do a real cosmic horror type of RP, but that sounds like a lot of fun.

Welcome to the board, I now count about 6 people who have migrated from RPG gateway, and I expect some more to come. :p

I hope the forum can support the extra people.

Also, I would like to say I have very high hopes for this board. I've been here no longer that a week (or so it feels like anyways) and I've already seen a 90% boost to my creativity. This is really a great community, and I hope you find what you're looking for.
