Friend Request Alerts

So I was shuffling through my profile recently, and, lo and behold, I had about 7 friend requests pending. I have no idea how long they have been there, and the only reason I found out about them today is because I clicked on a obscure tab on my Profile page.

Basically, I am asking if there is a way if we can get a an e-mail notification if we get a friend request or get some sort of alert (maybe the 'Profile' tab turns blue when you get one?). Otherwise, people like me may never realize they have those requests.

If the requests were just really old and you guys have already implemented something like that, forget about it. If not, well, whaddya think?

Oh, and maybe have the option of opening up private chat window with a 'friend'... but I think I am getting ahead of myself right now.

I have known about this for awhile. I don't think there is anyway to fix it. I searched Forumotion's forums to make sure and all I see are requests for the service, but no notion of them ever fixing it.

Yeah, unfortunately this is yet another feature that was requested and Forumotion seems to have ignored it.

The only thing we can do now is look at our profiles more often than not!
