Hey, my name's Thomas, but you can call me Tom/Tommy/Tigger/Xasthom/Xas/X or whatever else you want. As you can probably guess - I'm new around here. I'm not really new to roleplaying on the other hand. I write a lot, preferring not to restrict myself to either poetry or prose but switching between the two depending on my mood.

I'm currently 19 years old, and I live on the south coast of England in a city called Brighton. My hobbies include, software engineering, playing the piano, reading, writing, graphic design, web design, climbing and alcohol.

That last one is serious by the way. I'm a part-time bartender at a local nightclub and if I ever go to a birthday party - I'm the guy stood in the kitchen while people shout drinks at me... I don't even get paid. /sympathy_vote

Anyways, if there's anything else you wish to know - just ask.

Lol I paired climbing and alcohol together when I read it, but I'm assuming you don't (or usually don't) do both at the same time, haha. Your only 19 though. The drinking age there must be 18 then, like in Germany? (Ah, stupid American. I only know Germany's drinking age since my grandparents live there.) I used to drink more, but I haven't drank at all lately, since it always makes me extremely sick. Not only do I feel gross as I'm drinking, but obviously the morning (and even throughout the day) after I feel sick. But oh well. I'm past the partying stage anyway, now that I'm tying the knot soon. :3 (Never really went to bars much though.) However, my favorite drinks are martinis, namely mudslide martinis.

Yeah, it's generally nice to collaborate with people who are in the same sort of place as you are, with the same sort of values. Nothing like writing two thousand words and getting twenty in response.

Anyway, have you ever heard someone speak with an accent that grated on your nerves? One that was so terribly annoying that you wished all persons with such an accent were obliterated from the earth?

Well, if you think about it from the extreme opposite of the spectrum, you'll know why Americans love the British accent so much. I love many accents, but I also loathe others. I think Northern accents and Southern accents should cease to exist, but most others are quite nice to the ears. ^^_^^

There are many RPs here in a variety of genres to jump into - I doubt you'll have any problems finding one that'll suit your tastes.

It's been about forever and a day since I was in a bar, but bartenders and wait staff get all my respect - working for tips is so grueling sometimes. Sorry, no /sympathy vote at the parties for you though - c'mon, admit it... it's a great way to open up conversation and all.
