Apocalyptica: [ooc//Eternity/Kaito]

2010-> Life is perfectly normal. Just like what it had always been. Hectic in how people were constantly warring and fighting with each other. But that was just human nature, and it was soon to be forgiven...

In 2009, a group of odd occurrences led archeologists to believe that ancient life was somehow reaching out to warn us, but of course, being human, we were too late.

More and more obelisks rose from the sand in Egypt, and led more of the religious world into vicious turmoil. More bible-researchers began to suggest a hidden message in the old texts. Even in Hinduism, did followers proclaim having visions of a great beast. And all in all- everything was true.

2012-> The skies were black. The sun never rose. Instead, a dark shadow rose over the earth, letting a treacherous screech filter the sounds of reality out. This day, December 21st, was known as the End of the World. Because that day, all television signals and cell phone signals along with satellites, were destroyed and distorted. TV's were now tools of the great creature that hovered over the skies: Apocalyptica.

Machines were twisted and from then on used as transmitters for Apocalyptica's desires. The human world was derailed, and thrown into a mass episode of confusion and chaos. It seemed like everyone was alone. Continents could not contact each other, even states and counties, the only contact was in person. Then- there were revolts against Apocalyptica.

People stood in numbers far beyond the thousands. They all were raged and disgusted with what was also known as The Shadow of Days to Come.
But their stand was not well held. Things went terribly, when an eye appeared in the sky, massive and bright, and everyone disappeared, without another word. Never since was a rebellion put into place. People feared the power, suicidal thoughts and actions quickly became a fad. The world had finally become a living Hell...

2022-> 10 years it has been here. 10 years without mercy or forgiveness. Much like a new God, ruling with an iron fist, and raging skies. But there is something here now. Something the real creators have put into play.

Rising from the turmoil of blood shed and killing: The Resurrections.
Falling from the past of love and law: The Omens.

The Resurrections: These are human like creatures who are never given a childhood, they are born at the ages meant for fighting [15-35]. They wield many powers, depending on the Resurrection you are in contact with. Power includes= fire, lightning, gravity, mass strength, mass speed, shape shifting, flying, teleporting, and the dark arts. These usually seek out death and destruction above anything else.

The Omens: These human like creatures are almost the opposite. They are given a childhood of the past. They live their first 15 years of life in the pretense of time before Apocalyptica came to be. Then they return, prepared for battle. They are astonishing creatures who seem to bring on a state of calm and ease when they approach humans. Their power too, depends on the Omen you come in contact with. Power includes= water, wind, earth, mass strength, mass speed, shape shifting, flying, teleporting, healing, and the light arts. They seek the rebirth of the world above anything else.

The Blessed: A fair few mortals have been born with power unlike others. Their power is of the mind and fist. (Psychic style power and also the natural ability to fight). They usually do as they please with their power, though most see it as a calling, and spend their lives trying to fight The Shadow of Days to Come.







The world/setting:
-Think steam-punk or dystopia. The world is eternally shrouded in night due to the dark cloud of Apocalyptica that lingers over it. Electricity still exists, and advancements in technology have been made. But the world is under constant watch by Apocalyptica. It controls tvs, radios, phones/cell phones, etc. etc... It communicates its desires through such things. It watches, and warns people.

There are underground factions though. It is said that if you live beneath the surface of the Earth, you can elude the senses of the giant monster/machine/god in the sky.

-North Star- This is a double-edged spear of sorts. The black handle is centered between them. The spear ends retracted, blades and all, into the black handle leaving the object only about a foot and a half in length, with the two points at each edge. But upon applied pressure to the northern or southern edge, the spear points can jut out an extra two feet, with blades along the spear bars. Altogether with both ends extended, the weapon is almost six feet in length.
