"You know what has not happened here in a long, long time", the young one said in a faint whisper with a barely concealed grin. "A story." The words sang out before a proper sentence could be given time to form. "Tell us a story like you did long ago." And so, with a sigh, she started not knowing how the tale would end...

In olden times, this would be called an interest check. But there has to be some souls around for that kind of thing - and I am not quite sure any ghosts are still around. So in lieu of such a formal invite with ideas and plot and characters... those vestiges of a role-play that once were all but necessary... I come just with a simple proposition.

Would anyone, say, be interested in a good-ole'-fashioned role-play?

Like, if I started one here, on this forum, again, and promised not to relapse into too many comma splices...

Where was I? ...must be the fog and the layer of dust on this board.

Anyway, who is left that still lurks in the dark around these parts that would like to come out and play?

I lurk here time to time, and am always interested in some low pressure story telling, if someone had the mind to get one started.

I may try and get one started up if we can get some warm bodies on.

I don't know that you will find any more, a couple people have come and gone but I haven't seen any really stick around as of late.

So, I take it that even if I post my interest it'll do no good?
