Upon The Wings of Eagles

The sky has always been a place of virtue, relevance, and command on the planet of Scatter. The line between space and sky would constantly be blurred during the Seventh War; the time of history when the planet was once again thrust into a ever turning flux of warfare. For another point in history would be chronicled as a time when valiant stories of heroics, sacrifice, and patriotism during the decade that was the Seventh War.



The year of 2342 was a tumultuous one; to the east, the ancient Republic of Oriyak erupted into distrust and rebellion, annexing massive swaths of foreign land nearly overnight and with minimal effort as a newly sworn in President Gromehkie Bolovesie founded the Socialist United Nations of Oriyak. The Oriyak land grants suddenly skyrocketed as thousands of kilometers were pulled into the empire that was soon to become a major player in the world stage.
In the West, however, the year passed with minimal disturbances. Azrica continued it's industrialist expansion; a metaphorical "Power-House" of advancing technology, mechanics, and agriculture as it experienced one of the most prosperous yields in nearly every field of the government.

With the growing Oriyak presence across the border, the continent of Aluerone raised a small flag; that flag was the creation of the Coalition of United Aluerone Nations. With a small Military force beginning to prepare, threats were running as the World left the calm waters of international peace, and began to tread quietly through the waters of international strife. President Bolovesie took lightly to this formation of this opposing power to the West; the country had an ace up it's sleeve. For years prior to the fall of the Ori Republic, the Ultra-Nationalists had laundered amounts of substantial technology from numerous nations across the globe. Within months of the uprising; one word was constantly flowing through every revolutionists lips and minds. The Socialist Oriyak Airforce.



The year of 2344 brought warfare crashing down upon the planet in one swoop, precise blow. Day one of the Oriyak invasion would end with a six hundred and twenty Kilometer swath of land ranging from the borders of SUNO to reaching as far as the Cremmian Bloc nations that resided five hundred kilometers away. In the course of only 30 hours, the Oriyak war-machine was preparing for another assault. On the menu, sat the nations of Cremmow, Arhegovi and the Hydan frontier.
Enraged, both leading nations of the Alueronian Coalition; CUAN, would declare war on the oppressive movements presented by the power-hungry Oriyak nation. To the West, news had reached the Azrican continent, and Azrica itself, of the distant beating drum of war. Refraining from immediate action, it was only until another massive attack led by an Army of Ori soldiers numbering something near two million that Azrica realized what was upon the world. The year Azrica did commit itself to the war against the Oriyak, 2345, was a painful experience. As the Peoples Republic of Azrica began to sustain small amounts of troops to aid their Alueronian counter-parts in the war effort, ever increasing reports of the invulnerable Oriyak Airforce flooded them. As Azrica lost more and more young men to the guns and missiles and weaponry of the Oriyak; it looked as if the war itself could slow to a brutal halt. The Azricans incapable of aiding the CUAN as the Oriyaks pushed forward tens of kilometers a day.
Though, Oriyak was not the only one with a powerful Airforce. Azrica prided itself on having a substantial Military might, and although Azrica was devoting small pieces of units, material, and personnel to the war-effort; the CUAN begged for the Azrican Military to join the effort completely.


When Azrica did decide to stop sending machines, weaponry, and men, it would send a massive Military Force. A substantial number of it's current Military Force, which was numbering nearly eleven million total, would find itself transported via naval vessels to the Alueronian island of Catono. Awaiting to jump onto mainland Aluerone in a moments notice and begin fighting the Oriyaks at a moments notice. Warfare would grace these young soldiers with numerous experiences, soon enough.


Operation Swafford was a major success; in all seriousness, strategic landings along the Catoni coastline, with the Oriyak only Kilometers away, put nearly one hundred and twenty thousand Azrican, Caton, and Hydan soldiers within striking distance of the slumbering Oriyak Armies. The move would be dangerous, extremely dangerous, placing a number of rather raw and inexperienced soldiers directly into the cross hairs of the most powerful Army on the face of the world. What the Oriyaks weren't counting on, though, was the uninhibited Air-Support that the soldiers of Operation Swafford would receive. What the Oriyaks had used in their own Airforce, the Azrican Military might had created and deployed years before.












Aircraft; Aircraft have become the bread and butter of all that is warfare on Scatter; and it has been proved by the Oriyaks during the events of the Seventh War. This being said, with the moving accuracy of avionics and aircraft capabilities, pilots and Airmen alike have been trained in multiple echelons of aircraft combat.

The FM-23A "Opposer"; The most distinguished aircraft flying over the skies of Aluerone, it is a distinct Multi-Role, Inverted-Wing fighter. Possessing great maneuverability, it is a well-balanced, well-rounded plane that could bring any pilot through massive damage and sustain itself.

The DA-35N "Brute"; A hulking aircraft, powered by massive engines, the "Brute" is a dedicated Ground-Support aircraft that totes a large array of machine guns. Equipped with a powerful propulsion system, the Brute is intended for close-in ground use. Rarely ever joining the high-sky dogfights that populate the skies.

The EAIC "Shadow-Fighter": The dedicated Air-Superiority craft used by the Azrican Airforce, the Shadow-Fighter is a near invisible aircraft on radar. Even the powerful installations used by the Oriyak Air Defense could hardly find this craft as it tore the Oriyak Air Force to shreds the day of Operation Swafford.





Upon The Wings of Eagles will be the untold story of what had truly occured over the skies of Aluerone years ago, you will take the seat of the aircraft that helped save the world from the Militaristic grip of the Oriyak war machine. Players are going to take the fight directly to the enemy in this fast-paced, high-flying adventure of air combat. Dip, dive, and dodge through all the hell the Oriyak Military has to throw at us, and bring home the bell of freedom. This being the first RP I've created, specifically pertaining to a personal universe I had created a while ago, I can't wait to see where it will take off here on FOG. Hope to see you in the skies!
