Gift of the Divine

Akaneia...The greatest Empire to ever have been created. Ruled by the Divine Emperor Thaust, there was peace and prosperity throughout the land. Though the Divine Emperor had no child, his young nephew, Prince Lyon, was set to succeed the throne. But just before Lyon was to be crowned Emperor and to inherit the rights and privileges of Divinity, the Empress Alaria gave birth to a son. He was named Lucius, for he was destined to be the Light of his people and he was now to be the heir apparent. Lyon, however, grew enraged that the throne was being taken from him and given to a newborn. He cursed the day the child was born and disappeared, much to the grief of the benevolent Emperor and his wife.

For years they sought for Lyon, but he was nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Lucius grew into a gentle young man and Lyon was all but forgotten. On the eve of Lucius' eighteenth birthday and his subsequent coronation ceremony, disaster struck. His own cousin, Lyon, reappeared and kidnapped him. In the years he had been gone, Lyon had created his own secret nation, Aienaka, with the people who had supported his apparent ascension to the throne. He declared war openly against his Uncle, intending to use Lucius as a bargaining chip. What he does not know is that his Uncle's days are already numbered, for the Divine Emperor will face an even greater threat than Lyon, a threat to his own Divinity...and he will ultimately fail...Will Lyon and Lucius be able to work together to prevent Divinity from entering the hands of a foe so terrible, he will stop at nothing to attain his goals? Or will their differences be too great?

So basically I'd like to play as Lucius and have an RP partner play as Lyon, beginning from the kidnapping and progressing through a time when a new threat emerges to all parties involved. I'd be happy for you to create your own character as well, but Lyon and Lucius are vital to the story. Please reply or PM me if interested. We can work out more details of this fantasy world then.
