You may have noticed I'm slightly less overly-active here the past couple weeks. That's why. ^_^

Actually the main reason we're there is to deter employee theft. Our company has a contract with FedEx, and missing packages was a big problem for those guys before they upped their security policies.

Ten bucks and hour is what I used to make and wish I still did, so congrats! That all sounds like a pretty good situation to me. ^_^ Good luck with everything! And do post some pictures if you get the chance.

Congrats, Kalon! I agree with Fate, the smilies were epic! As nice as 10 bucks an hour sounds, I still probably won't be able to pay living expenses without either a second job or living with roommates after I graduate. That, and I would have to live on a really strict budget. Oh, and forget about ever owning a dog or any pet that requires some sort of heavy monetary investment. Ah well, such is life!

But mostly booya for my package arriving today! What was in it you ask? Oh, nothing important if you're not into it like me, but something awesome for a fan. I ordered Persona 4 online a few days ago, and got that baby express posted to my house! I've been playing it all day. Screw a resume, this is IMPORTANT dammit! Razz

(For those that don't know, Persona 4 is a game for Playstation 2. It is one of a very large series called Shin Megami Tensei, AKA The MegaTen series.)

I celebrate that I'm feeling much better today after my flu shot. My arm is still a little sore, but other than that I'm fine. And it's just in time, because tonight kicks off a weekend of swing/blues dancing with people coming in from all around the region! Wooo!!!!

The plot of Persona 4? Well, let me tell you a tale. It's about a young man (roughly 16 - 17 from what I can gather) who has to move from the big city to the little town of Inaba for a year. His parents recently got new jobs, and so he will be living with his Uncle while they move all the belongings to the new house, and get settled down. Anyhow, after attending school for one or two days, he hears about a rumour going around. "Look into a T.V at midnight to see your soul mate.". The protagonist and his new friends decide to give it a shot, and all of them see the same person in the "Midnight Channel". The girl they all saw soon turns up dead, and they begin to realize that those that appear on the "Midnight Channel" are in fact going to be the next victims of some supernatural serial killer.

While trying to pursue this mystery, and find out more about the "Midnight Channel", the protagonist and his friends discover the power inside them known as Persona. The ability to fight using the mirror of ones true self. With these powers they are able to combat the Shadow's that keep those stuck in the "Midnight Channel" prisoner, and slowly try and unravel the mystery of Inaba.

So, back when I was still employed (and before I realized I'd be leaving my job!), I purchased a new and bigger cage for my beloved son/AKA my rat, Sky. <3 I also had to buy custom-made fleece liners for the cage (it's like bedding for him to walk on), and they have been recently completed by an amazing seamstress that I met on the awesome Goosemoose.com website and will be arriving today!!! That means Sky gets to enjoy his new home now. I'm so excited to organize all his hammocks in there and watch him explore his new environment. He's my little baby. Aww
