PinCushion OOC [open]

~Some Casual Chat from the Maker~

I'm here to advertise my roleplay "PinCushion", as I'd like to get a few people involved.

PinCushion takes place in the future, revolving around a somewhat east-coast side of America over which Pennsylvania resides today. The focus is a group of large cities in the area that are interwoven in secret affairs that capture the minds and hearts of a few spectacular individuals. The main city is Silver City, which is government owned (as the world of Broken America, or New America, cities are either government owned, or have been overthrown by criminals and are independently run by thugs). It is elite, and home to the Gun Masters. The Gun Masters are people who are picked out for their genetics and percentile of successful training and brainwashing. These people grow up being trained in urban warfare, combat, and certain GMs have specific trainings.

Silver City feels like it is one of the most protected cities existent, and because of the Gun Masters having come to call it their home, it has slightly expanded their borders and the civilians have grown relaxed of worry about whether or not things are dangerous beyond their borders.

Recently Gun Masters have been sent out to a neighboring (but slightly distant city, about an hour away) city, called Century City. It is run by the infamous Jason Arkham- a Gun Master who retired himself against the desires of the government. He was said to have gone mad, but he only realized the truth about the government's corruption. He found his way into the ruins of an unmemorable city, and rebuilt it. Century City is one of the larger threats to Silver City simply because the Masquerade gang's members are tough, unique, and trained to compete and kill. Yet their approach and desires revolve around peace, as they take in wanderers and the citizens of Jason's city live in peace in the underground- flourishing in beautiful technology and housing that the government has yet to truly learn of yet.

When the GMs reached Century City, there were three. One was Makoto Fujita, a trained marksman and master combatant. He was cold, and heartless. A tough man. Then was Madeline Dawson. Madeline was trained in hand to hand combat as well as a master scholar in human psychology and urban behavior. She's a master of disguises and a queen of persuasion. Then there was Eva Airam, a young woman skilled in stealth, theft, and combat. She was different from the others though. Slowly she'd been noticing slight changes in her thoughts, and she was beginning to notice things about her companions and her job that made her feel unjust. Wavering from the cause, is the term that described Eva.

Battle ensued quickly. On came the many hands of Masquerade soldiers who were ready to let out a full assault on the three Gun Masters. Though outnumbered, they were highly outskilled. Makoto and Eva killed off sharpshooters, and Madeline took out quite a few ground attackers. Soon enough, the street was filled with bloodshed. When a boy was left, Eva saw Makoto's true depravity. Even Madeline stood and watched, as Makoto broke the boy's arm and tortured him for answers, before pulling the trigger and scattering the young teen's brain matter across the worn and eroded streets.

Another onslaught of bullets raided forward. This time, Eva broke away. She slipped into a back alley for protection. It was then that she was captured by Jason Arkham herself in her least suspecting moment. And without the least idea of what was to happen next, they stepped onto a platform and slipped underground, leaving no traces of where she had disappeared to...

Eva was violent, angry, and refused to give into the disgusting and vile enemy and traitor that was Jason Arkham. The Jester, they had nicknamed him. But he was odd, different, and she was wary. He took her to his quarters to cloth her, feed her, and care for her. And slowly he gained her trust. Afterwards, she became one of his. What turned of it all, of the remaining feelings of violence and hatred, became love and vivid passions. Unprotected, Eva did not expect- nor had she ever been taught- of the consequences of sex...

Elsewhere, Madeline and Makoto returned alone. Makoto was furious at the mission having had them retreat. Their boss, the General was absolutely furious. Makoto found himself unable to accept his failure, but Madeline simply shrugged it off. She explained to him the functioning of the human mind, and that he was the colder of others. Over the period of time that it was just her, Makoto, and Gregory, she found herself curious of the way Makoto thought. They grew closer, though only as friends- if even that.

One night upon an outing to stop a theft at the outskirts of Silver City, Madeline was taken by a group of street thugs after having split up from Makoto. They tried to rape Madeline, but without success. Makoto came and saved her, having a strange rage to protect the woman, his friend. He had grown some form of caring for her, when caring for another human was a foolish thing...

It wasn't long before Makoto was, sadly, transferred out of Silver City. Madeline enjoyed Gregory's goofy company then, and things were pretty lax. But the problem that came of relaxation and calm was a harder time of rage. A gang was taking over a city to the south, a gang calling themselves the Decepts, with their symbol of an old Transformer reference from the early millennium. They were crude, dominating, vicious, and merciless. A group of true lowlifes, and readying an attack. It was already said that the several heavy armory cars that Silver City had sent there to take out the Decepts had failed tragically, only ending with the Decepts gaining stronger technology from the Silver City armories.

But Madeline and Gregory could not take out the Decepts alone. A transfer had to be made. Gun Masters usually worked in teams of three and four, if not up to six for strong missions. So on came in a transfer, possibly from a capital city called Eden. Two people came, cold, hard, impossibly successful in their missions. One was a female named Rosetta, or Rose, and the other a tough male named Tony. They did not speak often, and though they were friendly to Madeline and Gregory, Madeline's studies in psychology told her something was horribly wrong. They were cold, and she had fears of a rumor about new Gun Masters being enhanced by nano-technology, truly creating the unstoppable force...

In the middle of the night, Madeline sat up in her bed to listen. In the living room outside of her door, she heard Greg asking for his life, in easier terms. But then a gunshot resounded, and she heard Rose cooing for her to open the door so they could 'talk'. Madeline wasted no time, making quick for a box under her bed. She buckled a harness around her body for escape uses should the day come she needed a flighty exit. She gripped a wire and hooked it, and then scaled out of her window, dropping down seven floors. When she reached the bottom floor it was a race to escape. She hauled ass through the garage levels until she finally found a motorcycle. She hopped on and hotwired it in seconds, before darting off. The Gun Masters Rose and Antonio disappeared in her background, as she headed for the edge of the city...

Elsewhere, in Century City, a new group had shown its face in the night. The Epidemics had strode forth from the ruins of Burnam, now known as East Trap. They were a small, but highly trained and tactical group that was coming forth to offer their aid to Masquerade. They wanted to join forces, and talk about initiating an attack on Silver City and overthrow it and take it over in the name of something for the people, instead of the government's wealthy greed.

Eva was growing ill, and Jason was completely oblivious to the truth as she finally felt herself fall weak when going out to meet the Epidemics. He asked her what was wrong, and she told him of the fetus growing inside of her, and how she was about a month or two pregnant now. She was relived to see that Jason was accepting of the heir he would be having by Eva- who was now called Maria by her lover and his followers...

The story begins in the night (as most people now sleep during the day because of the heat and beaming sun). Madeline is fleeing the city, Jason is meeting the Epidemics, and war is in the plotting process.

Available characters would be Wasteland wanderers, other gangsters, Decepts, Masquerade soldiers, Epidemic soldiers, civilians of Century City, mercenary Wastelanders, etc. I'm open for pretty much other than Gun Masters. You make your character and I'll introduce you to the story flow in the first post depending on who you are and where you are at. <3 Interest?
