I had to read it a couple times, myself. I do British accents with my family all the time, though, so it wasn't too difficult to decipher. I suppose the trick is to get into the frame of mind and try to think in the accent as you're reading it. *shrug*

I have no idea what charlie meant about me having nous, though....

Just kind of wondering, is there any way to find out all the old monthly feature winners without looking at the individual topics? Maybe we could start a continually updated topic with links to all the works/topics that have won a monthly feature? Just a random thought.

I am so confused guys, I couldn't decipher Charlie's british-speak.

But..uh, congrats to all of you winners anyways!

Well I won't be wasting time poncing around here and there with my divvy* jokes, and that. What I'm really here to do is fill her in for my pretty lady Fate. Right pretty and deserving as she is--like me mum, I don't mind saying--I just had to help. With her (meaning Fate) away about a sad business with Axiom, the bobby* Mods have got their hands full with taking care of things, so I've been asked to do with some of the hellping around. Lend all of you a helping hand, wot? So I has just got off of the island of Caligo a little bit ago to do just that, yes? Bit of compère*-ing for some official Foggy hullabaloo. Right champion that is, if I do say so myself. Very gentlemanly of me, I says.

So I've been put in charge of announcing this month's Monthly Features, and Cor blimey*! but have we got a treat for all the little boys and girls, all you grand Foggers! Exception bit of treats, that is. Perfectly grand. And right chuffed I am about it! Happy as a clam, is me.

Now I'm supposed to go on and on about wherefores and who-by's, with explaining how all this Monthly Features goes, and that. But... load of absolute tosh*, you ask me. Anyway my brain can only handle so much at a time; I'm buggered* enough as it is without any more bollocks* clanging about up there. Yeah, sod* the rules; I'll sop before I start chunnering* under my breath.

From photo manipulation to forum signature and avatar sets to custom world maps, she has dabbled into numerous categories, earning her the monthly feature for Art and Design!

WRITING AND JOURNALISM
Who's the winner? DJ AGENDA: "Triarch, A History"
An interesting account of a training seminar held for the nation of Antarctica, in a world seemingly parallel to our own Earth. Triarch, formerly a banking company, has established a series of colonies in the desolate frozen wasteland of Antarctica using advanced technology to provide habitable climates within isolated domes. This account begins to tell the history of how the new nation of Antarctica was formed and how things progressed within its boundaries from there. A very intriguing piece, laced with politics while maintaining an exciting air of infinite possibilities. This piece was a shoe-in for the monthly feature in Writing and Journalism.

Well done, DJ Agenda! I'd clap my hands, but it wouldn't be very loud. Bang-up job you did--simply peachy!

ROLE-PLAYING
KALON ORDONA II: "Sephiris: The Price of Peace"
A role-play that more than deserves its place amongst the monthly features. Kalon Ordona I--I mean--the Second's "Sephiris: The Price of Peace" is a world in the making, constantly expanding and being elaborated upon not only by the world's creator, but by the players participating in its evolution! Everything from the geography to the languages and customs of the people who inhabit the realms are becoming more distinct as the role-play progresses. Sephiris is a shining jewel among the role-plays here on FOG, and serves as an excellent example of what we hope to see more of throughout the life of these forums.

Now here's a fellow with some nous*! Jolly bleeding smashing, Kalon Ordona the Second! I'd hand you a tenner*, but I haven't any dosh*.

Greeting members, chatting about in the General forums, posting original works of literature and, most importantly, showing great skill in the field of Role-play; she is definitely a valuable member of our community, and deserves some time in the spotlight for all the contributions she has made. thank you, ImmortalSin, for bringing so much to the community here at FOG.

Ahh, that makes sense about the title though. I was wondering whether it might have been due to Charlie's accent, but I'm no expert on that matter so I decided not to assume so, hehe.
