Fallen Gods

Ok so I have been toying with this idea for a while, here is a brief summary, if enough people are interested then I will create an OoC for it.

The gods that are worshipped to day are in fact real. They exist, but are merely remnants of higher beings. The “true” Gods ruled the heavens and the earth in harmony millennia ago. Before the recorded histories man existed, and lived by the rules of the Gods, and there was peace amongst men and Gods alike. This was until a God, corrupted by his own sense of self importance, called Rulke, began putting ideas of greed, wealth and riches in to the heads of men. War broke out, fighting across the world, nation against nation and eventually the corruption spread to the Gods and they each sided with a nation. All the while the instigator of this unbalance sat looking down on the chaos he had created, waiting for the Gods to eliminate each other so he could take the throne and become the God Emperor, but a group of mercenary fighters, with extraordinary gifts granted by Mylana, a God who saw through Rulke's visions of greed and hate, rose up and set out to with the aims to fell Rulke and bring peace to the world once again.

Sounds interesting. I might join if we get more people and you set up a cool OOC. ^^

So the RP characters would be this group of gods fighting against Rulke?

Okay so some confusion, not Gods, humans who have been given "gifts" ie powers. I plan on letting people decide their own power, and will be fairly leniant but I dont want uber powers, or if you do have a high strength power i want some capping on it. Think more along the lines of Demi-gods. And non "canon" powers would be cool, i hate the phrase but "be original"

I could get into this. I will keep monitoring this thread, but send me a PM once you get things up and running.

It will be "medieval" but its before the current history. And I'm going for the quest to kill Rulke, possibly with a follow up rp of the aftermath where the characters would then be the most powerful humans alive.

A couple more interests and I shall get cracking on it.

I wish that it could be after the quest. I could actually have a use for the Ageless stranger slightly reconned for a new role.

I suppose i could play him as what he once was before he ascended.

It has been along time since i have been interested in a topic. I will try this out and see where it leads me.

I've been waiting for something really interesting to come along for my first rp here. If you're gonna go through with it, i'd definitely be game.

I suppose I would be game as well. Hopefully this one doesn't die out as the other two I was in did.
