The Risen and Fallen war

Several thousands of years ago a great war began between the inhabitants of the high Heavens and the lowly burning Hells, a war who's origin is now forgotten and covered in myth or lies. The Creator of the Heaven and Hells grew tired of the war and created the Earth, a place in between the Angel and Demon forces. Having briefly stopped the war the Creator grew tired and fell into a deep slumber, The Angels and Demons grew restless, but found a new war they could wage on Earth.

The resulting years of Demonic and Angelic guide on the earth presented a new breed, neither Heavenly, Hellish or Earthly. Half breeds became the pawns of either side, resulting in a other worldly style of chess. The demons kept out of Earth, except in the rare occurrence of the intervention of full breed Angels. The last small war on Earth happened in the middle ages around the year one thousand for the earthlings.

The Angels lost many 'followers' and the Demons lost much of their 'cattle'. The resulting war forced the Demons and Angels to reach a truce and held to it. The truce was forged between the three generals of Heaven and Hell. The hell Generals were known as Draconis, Bel Gog and Lucifer, the Generals of Heaven were Gabriel, Micheal and Glimora. A few hundred years of ceasefire was made, but the war that started many millenniums ago seems to becoming back at full steam....with no boundaries to contain it.

Character races are as follow :

Humans: Humans are bound to the realm of Earth, they posses no enhanced abilities of their own, unless technology is utilized. They are fully capable of using the Technology; this also makes them dangerous as well as helpful to both sides. Humans can be used as vessels for either side, they may defect from one side to another but that has a tenancy to ruin their relationship with those they were once with. Humans can also wield Magic to a moderate potency.

Angels: Generally, Angels are liked by Humans, and many Angels have chosen to protect the Humans because the Creator had created them before he slumbered. A being with wings, Angels tend to fight much, much better in the skies, but their skills fighting on the ground are not bad at all either. Their wings can become hard and dense, enough to reflect or block bullets from .50 bullets. The tip of the feathers of their wings is sharp enough the cut through iron, but can also be soft enough for a person to hold onto them and be carried. They posses the abilities to heal and mend wounds, if used on themselves it dose not drain them, if on others it drains them of strength for a small time. Angels normally have light blue eyes or dark green eyes in human form.

Demons: The Demons have scaly skin, like a lizard but are humanoid in form. They hate all Angels, but like some humans that are sadistic and heartless. Demons use more force when they can, to obtain vessels, if the vessel is unwilling the Demon could be forced out. Having wings, Demons are able to fly, but do not have the same skills of fighting as well in the sky as Angels. On the ground their skills are equal to a angel in combat, but underground their skills equal a angel's strength in the sky.

Renegades: The 'other' group is known as the Renegades, the group is made of defective Demons, Fallen angels and knowledgeable humans. The angels in the group are Fallen and on their way down that want to redeem themselves or want to go to hell, Same for demons, only they want to redeem themselves in Hell's eyes or want into Heaven. The humans have either became vessels for the Demons or Angels or they have some form of magic abilities and have run into the other worldly beings.

Half-breeds: Half-breed humans are either half demon or half angel. No half demon and angel beings have been created...so far. They lack the full powers of their full-breed counterparts, but they can gain that power by being in the presence of other beings like themselves. The only way they may gain their full power permanently is by swearing allegiance to Heaven or Hell. Half-breed angels that become loyal to Hell gain the full power of Fallen angels, half Demons gain powers similar to a heavenly demon. Fallen angels gain black lightly burned wings and cannot reenter heaven, Heavenly demon's red leathery wings become white and cannot reenter Hell.

Physical Description: Revenant is a being almost entirely composed of ancient almost fossilized bone and rock. He has two arms, two legs, and a head. After that his real similarities to humans stops. His head is more a crest of bone than a proper head and it bears some resemblance to an extremely small triceratops frill without the horns. This frill head is about the size of a human head. Typically Revenant goes about attired in black and green mottled robes. His hands are long and each hand has 10 fingers. These fingers can extend to become whips with little to no effort from him. His feet are clawed similarly, and he can project wings of bone from his back, though that is not a normal attribute of his form.

Personality: Revenant's goal is simple and beautiful in its pure simplicity. He wants revenge upon the creator for the destruction of world upon which he and the few others of his odd race had lived. And his plan to take revenge is strangely complex for his professedly simple goal. He is actually a highly intelligent and devious being, made more dangerous to others by their complete lack of knowledge about who and what he is.

Background: Revenant came from a previous world that was created before heaven hell and earth by the creator. He later destroyed the very world that he had created. For what he had created there was not good. But in the creator's destruction of the old world a single spore so to speak escaped the destruction. A single remnant of a great and powerful race that had been created by the creator and that had later rebelled leading to the old world's destruction. In the millennia that have followed the old world's destruction Revenant has floated through the void of space, unable to die and unable to truly live. Now though after so long that it had begun to give up hope for revenge or even a purpose it arrived upon earth. Now the ancient being can attempt to bring about it's revenge on the creator.

Equipment: Varius weapons made from bone and rock that he can grow out from his body. That is pretty much it for actual equipment.

Tall, long-legged and cocky, Mirk possesses a smart-assed tongue and likes to dress provocatively.

Personality: Mirk's abrasive personality would get her into trouble constantly if ownership if Mingus Munitions didn't provide her with a bevy of hulking goons, all chosen for their loyalty. She tends to walk around with a big, invisible 'Fuck off unless you can make me money' stamped across her forehead. Those who would think her helpless without her men, however, would be dead wrong. Ruthless, cunning and with a killer instinct her Daddy bragged on to his dying day, she is the heir Mingus always wanted and never found in his own children.

Background: Mirk doesn't talk about her early childhood. Ever. Barely past toddlerhood, she was found wandering the Wastes, the dead plane often used to hide conflicts from mortals, by battlefield scavengers. They sold her to Mingus, whose modest pawnshop was a front for an underground munitions and information supply company. Deep underneath the city in Mingus' compound, she worked twenty hour days for the next year or so, until selected to service the special tastes of a visiting half-breed demon. When the repulsive man, towering over twice her height and possessing ten times her strength, tried to take her, she killed him with her bare hands.

Something in the bloody child's gaze sparked Mingus' interest, something his own children were sorely lacking. Something that reminded him of himself. On that day three things happened. He ordered each and every one of his children beheaded and adopted her on the spot, giving her the name she bears to this day. Then, instead of kissing up to the warlord's Overseer in hopes of avoiding conflict, he used deception and treachery to bring them to their knees in less than a year, taking control of them to strengthen his own position.

With her constantly at his side, he turned his outfit into a small underground kingdom harboring misfits, renegades and anyone else willing to abide by the permanent cease-fire he insisted on as a condition of doing business, and then dealing to both sides indiscriminately. Most angels avoided his place, which suited the demon patrons just fine, but there were always those willing to walk the fine line of sin for access to information and equipment that could be found nowhere else.

Though his death four years ago was privately devastating, she took the reins of his business and shouldered the responsibility for the community she'd come to love almost as much as the man who raised her. She had to play cutthroat at first, until it became clear to the vultures hoping to pick apart Mingus' legacy that she was no pushover, but her father had chosen his successor well.

Description:

Personality: Fun loving, daredevil at times. He keeps his head held high in the case that he feels the world has a gleam of possible redemption, one trait that may be a flaw. Liking to remain active even for the soul purpose. Having any chance to fight with his bare hands, he will.

Background: Growing up alone was hard on Gabriel, he never really knew what he was till his 18th birthday, the day his back sprouted a set of wings. He had a childhood friend named Gianna, who was into black magic. The girl was affectionate over Gabriel for a long time, and saving her from a burning building did not help his situation at remaining friends.

She had started to grow stronger in her magic, attempting to force a love spell on him. His strong will prevented this from happening, but this also made Gianna fatally fixated on Gabriel. He had to fight off a Juggernaut Demon when Gianna's spell summoned one to kill Gabriel for refusing her advances.

His full power as a halfbreed was triggered and brought forth, revealing who and what he truly was. Having no true Family, Gabriel was a loner, but he helped a orphanage that he lived by occasionally. The kids loved Gabriel visiting, he only showed the children his halfbreed wings and let them play with him in the back of the building. A boy there, ironically and fatefully was named Micheal.

A mobster made a mistake and hit the orphanage with a drive by, killing a few children, including Micheal. Gabriel hunted down and found the Mobster at a small church, confessing to a priest. Gabriel killed the mobster and sent his body to the police, but was never caught by the police, but gained a enemy in the mob.His killing of the Mobster gained the attention of a small faction of Half-breeds and he stayed with them sense then.

Being a strong fan of Bruce Lee and Mixed Martial Arts; Gabriel slowly trained himself into a decent fighter within weeks and after a year a more dangerous one. Having self taught lessons of Jeet Kune Do, Gabriel's technique wasn't the best but it keep him out of trouble and out of harm. His skill in MMA came within his latest years on Earth.

Equipment: Gabriel has a large knife he took from the body of the killed Mobster, it was a K-bar, a military styled combat knife. His main weapons are a set of three Katanas he has no idea why he keeps them, they are rather ancient but still are very reliable. He rarely carries them with him on his person.
