I can do that, no problem. Very Happy
I'm assuming everything else is okay, then--or on the right path, anyway.
I'm flying blind, not knowing much about the character, but I think it'll turn out good anyways. ^_^ It's simple enough that I won't mind a few touch-up rounds.

Everything else is spot on!

I am assuming that the mark on her face is still being toyed with and it is coming out nice. The bird is coming out just the right shade. Plus, the feather in her hair is really looking good and feathery, just like a crow's.

I don't have character information up yet for her because she won't come in until the thread I am in moves along a bit. I will be working on it. Hopefully, I can have the basics up soon.

Two things... and if you can't do them, I understand.

Can you make the shirt lighter and can you make the bird's feet the same hue as its beak? If both things aren't feasible (which is fine), she's ready for her reverse signature!

I had some extra free time tonight.
I didn't know the exact shade of their skin, so I went tan since they lived by the sea.
Voila!

Any changes?

A bit more red in the hair, a thin line of beard on him. And she should be smiling, she's not so solemn. She seems to subdued and shy. Smile

I did one with Avis and Venteux together.

...and I apparently didn't figure out how to make edges transparent.

She, uh... is... smiling? Hmm
How much of a smile were you thinking? And what smile are we going for? When I spread it out further it looks like a smirk. When I make it thinner it looks juvenile. I dunno, maybe I'm not so good at them yet.... You said shy-ish, right? She's also the more intelligent one? I thought of her as reserved but confident. The smile she has right now, to me looks knowing and secretive. Any tips? I could do ten and have you pick. Razz

Edit:
Couldn't pass it up. xD

Hermes, the trick with transparent edges is to do them before you resize and add a background. Take out the white background from the base image and make it transparency, then take out any remaining white (which there shouldn't be, but there are a couple pixels of it in Avis's. Sorry. I usually manage to avoid that). Then resize, and you won't have the antialiased white muddling up your edges when you try to add a background. Very Happy

Like this, though you're probably better at doing the border thing.

Thanks for the help, but I am beginning to think Photoscape doesn't do transparent edges. I tried Paint too, but it didn't work. My programs probably just don't do it since I think I clicked every button possible.

Oh, well. I can easily just do things that don't have round borders.

I probably need another program if I ever want to make the transparency like you did. It looks great!

You can make a new request, though, if you want. Very Happy

Hmmm...empty list, you say? I'll shamelessly admit, I've been lurking in this thread for a while now admiring all the lovely character portraits, and I was wondering if you are still taking requests? I would really love a portrait done of my character Eri from the Viemera role-play if it's not too much trouble. I can send you details upon request.

Shocked

Silvan!

*Tacklehugs*

You are a genius!

Kalon, I've talked it over with a few of my other Viemera players, and the consensus seems to be that we are all wanting portraits based upon our Viemera characters. This consists of Silvan(obviously), myself, Plague, and Quaker for sure, though I have little doubt that Sunwolf and Muse would also be interested. Let me know if this is within the realm of possibility for you.

Characters can be found here though talk to me in PM before working on mine, I'll need to discuss a few things first.

Teeheehee...I didn't exactly mean to drag the entire Viemera cast into this, but it would be so cool to see all of our characters, which have been with us for over a year, brought to life by Kalon's awesome portrait-making talent. cheers

Kalon, should you choose to accept this mission, I would also like to discuss just a couple of minor details about mine, mainly the facial expression and outfit.

Gosh, what can I say? Of COURSE I'll do them all! xD
Viemera has been going on forever, and has a bunch of awesome Foggers in it. It'll be great! xD

I'll want to talk with you all, preferably all together, to see if we can unify this whole thing. I'd love to give this a special flavor all its own, distinct from the varied Emoria ensemble.

Can we set up a meeting?
Actually, you know what, I'll see you all in the Viemera OOC. Very Happy
