IMVU: The Virtual Chat

Not sure how many people here know about it, but IMVU is a pretty interesting virtual chat program. You make an avatar, dress them, and you get a little apartment to decorate. The whole thing is a giant chat. You can invite people to your place, or go to chat rooms and 'clubs.'

I've become almost completely obsessed with decorating my apartments. I think I've spent $20 buying extra credits so I can buy extra stuff to decorate it. I now have four houses, and one of them is completely decorated. I spend much of my time sitting in my house and wishing it were real.

If anyone here would be interesting in seeing what it's all about, please allow me to send you an invite before signing up. I get free credits for referring people and I really think I should stop buying them. Come fellow FOGgers! Join me on IMVU!

If more people sign up I won't feel like a huge dork, and if you already have it let me know so I can add you to my friends.

Anywho, back on track; I always saw IMVU as a total love-dork site. The ads always portrayed it as a social network for sexually-crazed pedos. But what the hell, I'll look into it.....WITH MAH PC!

I used to have one of these, but I stopped using it because I have dial-up. Plus, it wasn't that interesting to me. I have Gaia and Roliana for a customizable avatar.
