The time has come

Well, as I said. I would have to leave soon. Tomorrow, I leave for basic training. I wish you all the best of luck, and darn it, by the time I get back you'll probably already be thriving. Well, I'll miss you guys, and I'll see you in about 9-10 weeks. Later.

Basic was easy, but awesome feeling at the end. I can't fully describe the emotions involved.

So where will you be going to AIT? Or rather, what MOS will you be training for?

Nuclear Engineering, and Charleston, S.C. And.. I hadn't heard the term AIT until coming to A-school. what branch uses it?

The Army does but... I guess this means no Army for you? Nuclear engineering - I'm going to guess Navy, then?

Also, sometimes uniforms can make a man quite attractive. I hope you don't have to wear a silly sailor's hat, though. I may just have to make gay jokes. XD

I don't have many yet, but I can send a few. And... what's wrong with those hats? The dixie cups are... odd, given. But historical. And the others are cool I think.

That's not the hat she was reffering to, if I'm correct. It's a very new Navy uniform. I think she meant the white hat we wear on our dress uniforms. Google it
