Bring It!

I have the sudden urge to have a foe on these forums... well more of a friendly rivalry really. Plenty of people have a good amount in their friends list, but I'm guessing that it would be pretty hard to come across a somebody who has a person in their foes list. That in of itself is an injustice!

So here is an idea of what I am looking for in my rival:

1) Must be more than willing to join me in exchanging the more violent smilies (who sadly are lacking the attention they so deserve). This in turn will hopefully encourage growth and popularity among that style.

2) Must be creative and playful enough to exchange over the top accusations and mockery that needs only be slightly relevant to the discussion at hand. (All of which are geared to be fun and humorous, definitely not serious.) These can be made throughout the OOC portions of the forum and without warning. We'll leave IC areas off limits so as not to disrespect the RPs in which we are involved.

3) Spending most of my college career working with numbers and equations has left me weaker in the areas of spelling and grammar. (My IC posts are mainly cleaned up thanks to Word.) It is your goal your job your duty to ensure you bring these mistakes to light and berate me accordingly. I will in turn do the same to you.

4) Absolutely must have the sense of humor to be able to recognize that the aforementioned comments and tomfoolery are nothing but just that and are in no way meant to be taken personally.

5) Absolutely must have the tact required to understand where such comments would be out of place and would otherwise cross the line from playful antics to genuinely offensive.

6) I also understand that I am not perfect and am prone to mistakes in judgment. As such, if I mess up with number 5 and commit some sort of faux pas, please send me a message informing me of my mistake so I can apologize and hopefully bury the hatchet on the spot.

Once again I want to reiterate that this is purely for fun and should be taken with a grain of salt. The goal is to bring a new air of playfulness to these forums and to keep things lively. So, is anybody interested in playing this game with me?

Sorry, me and Kathryn already throw barbs at each other. I wouldn't cheat on my own adversary for anything!

No surprise there, I figured if there was already an instance of this going on in these forums, you would most certainly have some part in it.

I'm just not blunt enough in normal conversation to provoke such a relationship. Hence why I decided to make a thread to find somebody to join me.

It would be more on par as having our own "YOU ARE BANNED" segment to posts every now and then. Just take a look at about 50% of the posts that follows Fluffy's if you need further examples. *Zing*

I could do it.. but you're the only one on my friends list atm. I'd be left only with foes in my profile.

also, I don't know when 5) is crossed, even more so since I'm not a native speaker...

But otherwise, mockery is actually my big strength. I do it all the time in RL. (YES, THERE IS A RL OUT THERE, AND IT HATES YOU!)

No joke, she is certainly a Grade A hater when she wants to be. I just hope I am ready for her spite, it is looking I may be outclassed with this one.
