Map Help?
I am engaging in multiple world building projects, and need to alter a map of Europe to fit a roleplay thread. I was wondering if anyone could either help me find a program to help do so or just help draw a map for me. Thanks a lot.

Re: Map Help?
So like, get a blank map of Europe and add stuff to it?
Here's a physical map to start on, maybe.

Is this what you were thinking or could this be a good foundation?
Or were you thinking more of a line drawing?

Here's a map I drew for an upcoming rpg : http://www.emery3d.com/lfantamapscroll.png
I can draw line art with whatever else you need on the map with given time. It may take me a while to draw though if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer Delve, I will probably take you up on that offer once I have a project worthy of being that well done.
Thanks for the map Silvone, I was thinking of using a base like that, but what I really was looking for was a program to alter the map itself to fit my needs better. Right now I am just working through paint, and after about 9 hours of work or so, its not too bad, just not that good either.
So second question, whats the url command to post the image in one of the spoiler hyperlink boxes?

Wow, Delve, that's insanely awesome. Great work! You're a very skilled map maker. (The only suggestion I might have, and I only am saying this because I think your work is great and you'd be interested in hearing it, would just be to have only the bigger places, such as cities or places of interest in a larger font, as they typically will do on a lot of modern day maps, and have the places of lesser interest or that are not as well known in a smaller font.)
I was actually wondering if anyone has come out yet with an easy, web-based map creator, where people like us can go to quickly and easily create a map with presets to choose from that would fit most people's needs. If there isn't anything like that yet, I would think/hope there will be someday soon.
I use Photoshop for everything art-related, but that's an expensive program, and I know it can be a pain to get the latest version rip of (as I lot of people I used to go to art college with had some difficulties, though it can be done).
The best recommendation I have for you though is to get the free download of Open Canvas, one of my favorite drawing programs. http://wistinga.online.fr/opencanvas/#downloads This is the original version I believe (I paid awhile ago and got Open Canvas 4.5), but it still has everything you should need, and I just really like their drawing tools and the way you can blend brush strokes together when you're coloring. (I have the most fun coloring in that program lol.) I hope that helps!

An open source program similar to Photoshop is GIMP http://www.gimp.org/
Here is the code for an image within a spoiler (remove the spaces)
