Before I get my post up, I need to discuss a few things with Dio. I don't want to make any statements that restrict his character's actions. We're right here at the end of the prologue, so I was wanting to ask the GM something as well...is there anything in particular you want to see in a final prologue post?

Nothing special to be honest, just do whatever feels natural - you're not writing a novel. The fun part and change of pace comes with the beginning of next chapter, I haven't really thought it out yet - but I plan to shake things up a bit, allow you guys much more freedom (of posting and otherwise) and generally get on the social side of things.

Just no you know, I'm all set to post, just waiting on Deadeye. I think he is AWOL.

Yeah haven't heard from him in a couple of days, he must be busy.

Sorry about the disappearance. Had to take care of some unit reassignment stuff for my mobilization this July. When I got home the internet was down, but I'm back up and running now. My post will be up either tonight or tomorrow.

No rush. I'm in a similar situation myself. My service provider fucked up, and I will have no internet til Monday, hopefully.

I still haven't seen or heard from Deadeye. I was wondering if I should make a quick post without him so that Blackrock can work on the next story line chunk.

I actually spoke with DeadEye today and he told me that he's been a bit busy and that his post should be up rather soon, so don't feel rushed to do it. I'm still not going to go ahead with this, so I don't mind waiting for people.

Posting right now. Terribly sorry for the delay. Dio, I'm sticking to what we discussed via PM. If I do anything you don't like, I can amend the post after it's up. I mainly just conveyed that our character's stuck together until the battle was over. If you want to put in some extra dialogue, please feel free. As we discussed, my character is a somewhat cautious guy, so feel free to laugh at his short-lived spikes of panic during the last few events of the fight.

I had to rewrite this post a few times (starting from scratch), because I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. In the end, it came out shorter than the others I have made up until now, but I think size isn't of such importance this time around.

Regardless, where we stand now is the end of the prologue. Trucks (what exactly they look like in the future I've yet to decide, feel free to pitch in guys...) will be coming over to pick our characters up in two or so hours. In the mean time, your guys will have to haul their asses to the rally point. This can be either by one of the corporals finding you and leading you there; hearing the sergeant's call or you could, conveniently, be there already. Whatever suits you best.

Feel free to write everything between that and getting on the vehicles themselves, you won't have to be together necessarily, you may just end up being lumped with other recruits from the same rally point. Again, it's for you to decide.

My next post will pick up with us arriving at the base and finally easing on the reins and allowing you guys to start really developing the characters and their relations. As well as doing away with the strict post order (and content demands from the bastard GM).

Yeah it's open. That's your standard soldiers, so those are unlimited. We've also got Medic open up at the moment (Spectre, the writer who was supposed to be our medic, no longer has time for this).

Drop me a line when you've got a clearer idea of what you want.

My post will be up tomorrow. I started redeployment training this week and haven't had a free moment, or computer access. Starting Monday, I'll be on duty every day until September, then start getting weekends off in October or so. Anyway, things will be busy, but I've started making segments of posts on my phone when I get down time, so I will be able to stick to the story without skipping a beat.

Blackrock, sorry I haven't been on Skype in the past couple of weeks. I'm up around 1300 your time, and take lunch around 1900 your time. Still here. Been busy as hell but getting some leave (September 2) before I mobilize (14th). Currently sitting in a shitty run down barracks in Ravenna Ohio, posting from a phone :-/
