Hullo.
I suppose the entire point of this text is to introduce myself and give you a brief but witty text you enjoy reading so much you'll actually respond... but frankly, I'm not that interesting. Or witty. At all. Nope.
So, let's keep this short and sweet. I've never blogged or been part of an online community before, and this is a very new and exciting experience for me. As exciting as sitting in front of a screen and wiggling your fingers sporadically can be, I suppose. This was a prompt by a good friend of mine, and to him I say, "I hope you're happy now, you mongrel." That was indeed meant for you, Dax.
I'm not good with deadlines, and though I love writing and making up spectacular stories, I warn you you shouldn't expect much.
I think we're already past the short limit, but I hope it's still sweet.
I live in Montreal, I'm an irresponsible student at a pretty cool school, though I guess Dax may disagree. I'm just strange like that.
I like a lot of things and dislike very little. Silly is my middle name, along with Yes-I-Know-I'm-An-Idiot-Please-Get-Over-It and I'm-Tired-And-Hungry-Feed-Me. Yup. Cross my heart and hope to die.
I'll be leaving you to your perplexed cranium scratching and disappointed head shaking now.
Have a nice day!
With lot's of naive optimism awaiting a crushing reality check,
FC.
PS. Sorry for abusing your name, Dax. Just wanted to make sure you got I was on. Smile

Welcome to FoG, FC, and don't worry about abusing Dax, we all like to take shots at him. XD Kidding of course, unless you count the creative insults thread in the games subforum.

Does FC stand for anything in particular?

Any questions, here is as good a place as any to ask. Very Happy

And now, I must repeat Loki's question. What in the world might FC stand for. You know we'll have to make up something if you don't tell us. ^^

Wow, I never realized how much I love replies Very Happy
Yes, in fact, FC does stand for something, but I loved your list so much, Kalon, that I think I'll just take one of your ideas.
But I know you won't be satisfied if I do that, so here: Freedom Creed.
It's my artist's signature when I draw and graffiti (not on actual walls, Heavens no), and I just thought it was cool.
Yup yup.
So I do have one question, if I may. What do you all usually write about?

Those are alot of suggestions there, Kalon... O.o (Freedom Creed is pretty awesome, by the way.)

AND YES, FINALLY, YOU MADE IT.

IT
WAS
ABOUT
TIME xD

You'll fit in here just fine you little book worm, you. I will indeed show you around here as much as I can, but keep an eye peeled for a post in this very thread by a certain 'Bird of Hermes' who will give you the regular 'Welcome, here are a ton of links. Have fun! xD"

Replies are fun, aren't they? But the best reply is an IC (In Character) reply inside an RP (Role play). In reality, we write about whatever we want to write about. You have a choice of browisng the Advanced or Casual RP interest checks and see if anything interests you OR you can create your own RP in said interest checks and write about something specific that YOU wanted. FoG takes you only where your imagination will let you, FC. Nod

First thing first: when you can, get on the IRC (That is the site Chat room, you will see a button on the menu bar thingy linking you to the page). From there I can explain to you this site in more detail... and also explain to you what 'Emoria' is. lol!

Oh, and FC what Loki said about abusing me... IT IS ALL TRUE. I do, however, abuse everyone in return. It is like a circle of abusing. It is great.

So, as my last words to you in this post, I say to you: join the circle of abusing and be wary of all soul-nibblers that reside in these 'ere parts. xD

Oops...I guess I'm supposed to say something before I start nibbling, huh?

WELCOME TO FOG!!! It seems like the welcome wagon/crazy train is already in full swing, so I'll keep this short and sweet. It sounds like you're already finding your way around, and you've got a good (albeit crazy) guide in our resident priestly priest who priests. Enjoy your stay!

Greetings, FC! Here’s some advice so that you don’t get lost in the spiral mists.

I smell a newbie... Welcom10

Welcome to Footsteps of Ghosts!

Check out our rules, etiquette and "What is FOG?" sections.

If you want to discover our newest features or share feedback about the site, stop by the news and announcements area. If you have any trouble using the forum itself, try the FAQ.

If you have any questions, our staff will be more than happy to assist you.

We also have a chat room if you would like to talk to our members now.

Take a moment to browse our forums and perhaps find a role-play to your liking, a place to receive input on your works of literature or simply to converse with people of similar interests.

Sorry for the late welcome. Somehow I missed this thread. ^_^

Did somebody say Emoria?

If you have any interest in Emoria, let me first say: Awesome! I do love getting new players to fill out the world. However, because of the amount of players currently role-playing in Emoria, and the rough road its been on over the year, we have changed it from simply throwing up a character sheet and joining to going through a small application process. Nothing major, I promise. But we do expect to get players who have the best interest in the group and story as a whole in mind.

Anyway...welcome to FOG, and hopefully I don't scare you away Smile
