The Absurdity Game

It's a simple, fun, and creative game, where one ends off by giving their solution to an absurd situation and proposing another.

Ex:

Person 1: You are stuck in a vat of boiling lava with the lid screwed on tight

Person 2: Thankfully I'm wearing my sexy lava proof-suit!

Okay, for you first situation if this ever picks up,

You are at a 15 your old kid's party dressed as a clown. Did I mention that the kid is a gang member who hates clowns to the point of beating them into a pulp?

Luckily, I'm a hit man from a rival gang and whip out my tommy gun first!

You are swinging on a kids swing, stuck to the seat with super glue and unable to remember where you left your lunch money.

(is that kind of the absurd that we're looking for?)

Luckily, I brought my reliable laughing gas, and the kid and everyone else at the party can't help but erupt into laughter and feel very good, so that I can make my escape! (Oops, my post came too late! lol)

Luckily, I have my handy, dandy cell phone, and can call my mom to free me and give me more money! XD



You are out boating with some new friends, and one of them lets you steer their boat. A wave hits the small boat and you overcompensate and steer it too quickly to the side, knocking one of your new friends overboard!

Luckily, my secret super power is expando stretch arms and i can grab them from the driver's seat and pull them safely back in.

You are flying through the Andes when suddenly you remember that you can't fly.

It's alright, Because I've packed my trusty parashoot for such occations.

You're in a high speed car chase when you suddenly run out of gas!

Luckily I'm inspector Gadget! Nuh nuhnuh nuhnuh!

You are on your way to a gala when the atom bomb explodes your city.

Luckily, all my friends are the people from Heroes, and Hiro can bend time to before the bomb explodes, and the rest of the super heroes can help to find and deactivate it!


You are at a fancy restaurant with the love of your life, when you get a little carried away, and spill your alcoholic beverage all over your lap into your nice outfit.

Luckily my lovely outfit is made of water proof plastic and the alcohol simply slides off of me, giving me something funny to laugh about with the love of my life!

You're in a space ship that has a ruptured hull! Oxygen is venting and you don't have much time!

Luckily, I am Chuck Norris--Oxygen breaths me.

You are walking down the street in New York when--be still my heart--a piano falls on your head.

lmao... oh god, seriously Kaislynn... pop just flew everywhere when I read that xD!!

Luckily I have an immunity to all poisons and I simply spit it back in his face before going for a ride on my broom!

You are scuba diving when suddenly a blood thirsty kraken bursts from the coral and attempts to eat you!

Luckily, I have my trusty can of Raid kraken repelant.


You are running through a forest in winter, loving the wind in your face when you realize it's -50 degrees and you're naked.

Luckily, I'm a druid, and I simply shift into bear form, and my thick coat and massive amount of fat keeps me warm.

You are skydiving, open your parachute. It opens fine, problem is that the straps to the pack broke and now it's slowly floating to the ground while you no longer have a parachute pack, killing the chance of the safety chute.

Luckily for me, someone was breaking the worlds record of most pillows stacked ontop of each other..and the pillows went so high, that it broke my fall and I didn't even get one scratch.

You are driving up a mountain, and keep having to swerve for trees and road signs and such that keep falling randomly in front of you. Luckily you survive, and you finally make it to the top. Once at the top you start going down, but your car is almost completely out of control and you race down the hill at a crazy speed. Once more you survive safely, and stop the car at the bottom right at the bottom of the mountain. However, the whole mountain beings to fall and your car won't start and you can't open your door.

Luckily I have an ejection button, and eject myself free from the car, and parasail away from danger.

You wake up, and you're in a room, filling with water. Somehow, there seems NO entrance/exit, and the water is filling. You also see that after it gets to you waist, pirahnnas will be able to get in.

Luckily, Captain Kirk and the gang beams me up just in time.

Your wandering through the woods and the sun is setting. You try to retrace your steps to get out of the woods, but you quickly realize your lost. The sun goes down and all of a sudden you hear a chain saw rev up and several screams in the distance. Your all alone with nothing but the clothes on your back.

Luckily, I'm the guy who trained Rambo. That chainsaw didn't help him when he walked right past me without realizing it.

You're naked, in a locked room with a bunch of crazy, lustful men who are looking you down. Apparently, they think you look 'pretty'.

Luckily, I'm one of Charlie's Angels about to kick some serious ass and look good while doing it. As per to usual Charlie's Angels filming: during all the shots, men's flying bodies are strategically placed so as to maintain the illusion of demureness. ;D

It's the last week of classes and your final portfolios are no where near complete. If you don't ace every single one, you fail all your classes.

Luckily I have a friend who can give me Adderall, allowing me to stay awake and focused on the work that needs to be done all week!

Luckily I Invented the whole hive mind thing and taught it to the aliens and am now their king.

Luckily, I can hit that darned ol' reset button and gets me summore of that delicious cake.

It's Tuesday, your pants are red, the sky is purple and you have this sinking suspicion that it might not be safe to go outside, what with the newly formed quicksand traps forming a mote around your house.

Luckily, I'm Gladstone Gander and don't need to care about anything. Today's my lucky day.

You happen to witness a slaughtering firsthand, literally. when you come to your senses, you still have a blood dripping knife in your hand and the swat are just driving up the van.
