What distracts me most in my room would most likely be my computer under the same reasoning. Instead of doing yard work, studying, et cetera I would prefer to write and hide away in my fictional Worlds as I find reality unsatisfying.

What in your room is the most valuable to you? Personally, I suppose I value most the handwritten copy of my unpublished novel in which I am trying to finish proof reading.

Humm... There are a lot of ways to express value. Sentimental value. Monetary value. Practical value (stuff you use the most). I guess I would have to say my laptop since it qualifies in all three categories. It's where all my writing is stored. I use it to communicate with friends online and it cost a lot to buy.

What's in your room that is mobile? (sometimes there sometimes not)

The lego columns supporting the table leaf on a foot above the surface of my desk. It's just amusing to me, the thought of someone walking in and staring, waiting for me to say "Yes, those are legoes." xD

What in your rume is easily misspelled? (That was an honest typo. I can't believe myself. xD)

Katana, there is no plural for that word. Damn Westerners and their need to throw an s at the end of that word.

Video games. Usually I play them as a stress reliever or to pass the time. You see me playing a game you can assume I am board or angry.

I hide my Pokemon games from other people. I try to keep my gaming nerd side mostly hush-hush, and I'm just a little self-conscious about the Pokemon stuff unless I know the other person is just as nerdy.

Do you have anything in your room covering the floors, like rugs or mats?

I have carpet for a floor so I don't really need a rug. Unless furniture counts then no. Oh wait I have a small rug by the slider to wipe people's feet on. Nothing fancy though.

My room is white. I live in a condo which I will be moving out of in a couple months, and I didn't care to paint any of the walls, since I knew I wouldn't be here long (as you have to repaint all the walls you paint white again when you move).

What's the messiest part of your room?

ME! No wait the knife my great grandfather had. Nope. Probably a coin from my coin collection since I got ones going back to the 1920s or earlier. Ok so I got a lot of old stuff. It goes with being a history major. Laughing

That would have to be 3 pairs of new shorts I got a couple weekends ago (two white, one jean). I didn't have shorts for the summer time!

What's the least attractive thing in your room (within visible sight for a visitor)?

The bright green chair and matching ottoman. I needed somewhere to sit in my room, and I wanted a round folding chair...the only one they had was bright green, and I honestly just didn't even care. I try to throw a blanket over it, but it tends to fall off.

What in your room is bright green?

I have a red chair, a green/black plaid bathrobe, some blue boxes, some red, green and assorted color legoes, um there's a red sticker on one of the boxes there.... the light on my computer is green, and so is the grass on the cover of Animal Crossing: Wild World... there's grean plants outside, and my blanket and the cover of my makeshift shelf are pale green, and I have a dark blue bedsheet and oversized clipboard. Also a lot of brown and black stuff like desks and keyboards and cellphones.

...I guess I have a lot of favorite colors? Very Happy

Are there any annoying toys in your room?
I've got a Simon chipmunk from McDonald's that goes "da-dum dum DUM dum, I'm lovin' it!" in a high-pitched, barely intelligible voice. Razz

No, I don't think so. There are a lot of toys, but I don't think there is anything particularly annoying in it. Ryona might disagree though.

Is there anything in your room that you have kept and displayed simply because of attached memories? Something that is otherwise perhaps useless?

Once again the answer is the family sword. As swords go I'd rather fight unarmed then trust my life to that relic. Being the family sword though I look after it as well as I can but the edge is a write off, old steel is a losing battle when trying to sharpen it. Especially given the fact I have to do it the old fashioned way, my grandfather would turn over in his grave if he knew I took modern methods to the family sword. But once this blade saved a ancestor of mine on the Japanese side of my family life and served him faithfully so you can't just right the thing off as junk.

What is in your room you rather wish wasn't but is because of overriding circumstances?

My friend bought this terrible movie and hated it so much that he left it at my place. The problem is that although I collect movies I only allow good movies to make it to my collection. Since this was a bad movie I don't want it either but my friend insists on leaving it at my place. I am way to cheap to just throw it out so there it sits in my movie collection.

The mattress on my bed. It's the same one I've been using since I was little, and it's still perfect. Every time I've switched where I sleep I move that mattress with me. ^_^

My Red Wings T-shirt since it has Red and White on it and those have been my colors since High School (where they were Maroon and White which is practically the same thing in my eyes).
