Name: Rave "The Raven" Heruna

Planet: Volunix, a place home to humanoid ghosts. The sky is a deep mauve at all times, and three suns circle it constantly. Though these three are quite far away, making it a very cold planet, even when all three suns are gleaming away. The Heruna are the prominent leaders on this planet, usurping all the others via force. Nothing really lives on the planet any more, except the "Walkers" (race). The reason? The Walkers destroyed it all, taking the life-energy to live longer. Technology exists to support life indefinitely, and the only way the Walkers really die any more is murder, which is commonplace as conversation.

Biography: Rave was born into the Heruna family, born to be the Walkerking, leader of the Walkers in their undying dream to find the Place Beyond Places. He, unfortunately, was a wild and crazy person. His human-form, by age 14, was already a sinful amalgem of flesh and steel, going against Walker culture. He silenced all claims to the throne by killing every other heir on the planet. He ordered advancements of technology, pushing his entire planet's wealth into advancing his physical form. Soon, he found it: An ancient tome describing a fusion of soul and steel, capable of saving the forms and memories, the soul and experiences of whomever it killed.

Within days, half of the planet was dead.

Two days later, only he remained. Using the ancient and terrible machine, he uploaded an entire race's life into his own. He became not only the Walkerking, but The Walkers themselves. Soon after, the portal opened. He found himself on Omnitrax's planet, staring down the barrel of a hundred guns. He bowed, and told his story. He quickly rose through the ranks of Omnitrax's army, swiftly becoming one of his favored assassins and generals.

Other: He's absorbed hundreds of others by now, deleting most of the Walkers from his soul and memory. He can form his "Ghost" fog into their forms, adopting their fighting style and memories.

He can be almost anyone, and that's why he's one of the best assassins.

((I know this seems powerful, but I was planning on him being a reoccuring antagonist to the good guys.))

Name: ‘Karall’ (Basically 1st Lieutenant in human terms) Kane

Loria was never a planet of peace. From the moment that the race, called Trykers, could even walk, they were trying to kill each other for power. The planet itself is a complete war zone, with cities being built only to be torn down by an artillery barrage from a warring faction. Many leaders have seen through the fog of war, and what lies for their race should they continue this way, but they have swiftly and painfully been brought down. Craters pocket mark the surface, buildings collapse or explode daily, the sky has turned a murky brown, and vegetation grows only in the most remote of places. A single sun tries to make an appearance through the mottled sky, but only its heat is felt. The planet can rise to temperatures of around 100 degrees Celsius, on a good day! Two moons, labeled Alpha and Beta for military reasons, orbit the planet of Loria. There is no peace, there is no respite, and there is no hope.

Government on the Planet:
The only government that has power is the military leader of the many factions on the planet. There is one city that, despite all odds, has remained intact. This city, codenamed ‘Grievance’ has stood for centuries as bombs have dropped and rounds have impacted on her walls. Whoever holds the main bunker complex in the middle of the city is called the “Larinch” or ‘Leader' in human terms. Many factions have held this bunker complex, and many have been forced from where they were rooted. No matter how many times the bunkers have been invaded, shot at, bombed, or otherwise impacted from numerous ballistic or explosive devices, it remains intact. This is the only reason why it has been chosen as a prime real estate location. There are massive wars for inches of ground to the bunker on a daily basis.

Bio:
Trykers were originally completely organic beings not unlike Humans. Their skin was slightly darker, bordering on gray rather than pink, and they were all unnaturally strong compared to humans. Along with this, due to the extreme heat of the planet, all Trykers were extremely resistant to heat, near to the point of being fireproof. Over the centuries of fighting, advancing, and fighting again, Trykers have become something else. The females in the factions have the sole duty of giving birth to new soldiers. These ‘soldiers’ are then placed in pod, which then replaces certain limbs and other organic tissue with mechanical implants. They are then exposed to Trinite radiation, which has the unique effect of rapidly aging someone’s body. While this is happening, one of the implants fused into the newborns plays through, and places all the knowledge that the child will ever need to know; how to talk, how to walk, how to fight, how to follow orders. They are given everything except a personality. As they continue to fight, the lucky ones who last long enough gather enough experience to be labeled as ‘Ullera’ or ‘Self-Aware’. All the organic Trykers are extinct now, being deemed too ‘fragile’ for the use in war. Even the women are fused with mechanical apparatuses so that they can simply pump out children like machines. There is no organic reproduction other than the donation of highly praised warrior’s genetic material. The Trykers are a sad race in the view of the universe, but it is their nature. They are born, trained, and told only one thing; to fight!


Kane was born into the faction of Lugeral. This particular faction was holding the bunker complex in Grievance at the time of his birth, and before day three, he was already out on the battlefield doing what his race does best. His first few months of life are nothing noteworthy, seeing as he was only a robot being told what to do and how to do it. Around his tenth month of life, he started becoming his own person. He was instantly recognized as an Ullera, and promoted to the rank of Karall. The soldiers in these positions were given control of over a thousand soldiers, and often led these men into battle per Tryker custom. As the fighting continued Kane became more and more self aware, realizing just how doomed his race really was. If they continued to do what they were doing, they would end up with nothing.

Kane held his thoughts though, for he had heard and seen what happened to those who threatened to change the ways of the Trykers. He continued to fight, he continued to kill, and he continued to build his regret until it was at a point in which he could simply not hold in his compulsion any longer. He gathered a few close allies, and made a public speech on the airwaves of every known faction in the world. There, he told them that they would continue to fight until their own extinction. He asked every one of them why they were fighting in the first place? What was worth fighting for on this planet anymore anyways? At first, nothing happened, but we all know that armies take time to prepare.

Soon, several factions had nailed down his location, and he was forced to flee while his allies tried to cover his escape. Several of them managed to escape their execution, but for a year to come Kane was hunted down, and soon he was the only one left out of his group of thirty. He continued on his own for yet another year, managing to predict and out-maneuver anyone that came after him. This, plus the fact that he was a veteran soldier compared to fresh out of the tube recruits kept him just inches from the claws of death that threatened to drag him down into the pits of extinction.

It was during another raid on his person that he managed to literally fall through the portal. A faction by the name of Gramini had managed to trap him by a cliff and, with artillery, managed to blow him off the edge. As he was falling to his inevitable demise, he soon found himself in another land, scorch marks covering his armor, A deep gash across his torso where he had met the cliff wall, and a large crater where he had landed. He had no idea what had just happened, or why he was still alive. His first guess was that he was in Erathine, a famed island of paradise where war is but a faint memory and peace reigns with a gentle hand. That idea was soon erased as he was quickly met by an armed parade of soldiers who ordered him to follow them into what appeared to be the central city.

It was here where he met Omnitrax. Although he could see this being was a figure to be feared, he saw that if they could get back to his world, this man would be able to control all the warring factions. Yes, they would be brought together through what the others called ‘dictatorship’ but it was ten times better than what his current government was, or lack of one. He swore allegiance to the lord on the promise that should they be able to travel through the worlds, that Omnitrax would bring order to the chaos that has ravaged his world. It has been five years since that day. Kane has been successfully leading the leader’s armies against its enemies, and has survived many battles that would have killed an average being. He is the perfect instrument for war, and it was obvious to anyone that saw him on the battlefield that he is a force to be reckoned with.

Name: Krai Tehk'la
Planet you character was transported from (Not Needed for Human): Krai is from the planet Iskalon, a small planet with a burnt orange sky, forth from it's respective sun. It was once an incredibly lush planet, but things change. It's most dominant race is called the Vaynai, who's entire civilization is based around magitechnology, or using magic to create power and fuel the world's technology. Their culture is driven by honor and individualism. Most Vaynai would rather die than loose their freedom. The Vaynai also have a strong grip on their mages, or magi, through the Academy of Magi for they know the mages power to manipulate magitechnology could bring the Vaynai to their knees. The capital city is Sto, a sprawling megacity with spires that reach into the heavens, and the portal is located inside the Academy off to one corner of the room where they conduct the right of passage for mages. Their government is an oligarchy with eight members from the higher classes. Iskalon is in it's third era, one where magitechnology has all but covered the globe. Only small amounts of nature still exist on the planet. Their technology is about on par with the 1800s, even if it dominates the planet

Bio: Krai was born to a merchant family in the capital city of Sto, but at the age of 5 she was taken to the Academy of Magi to be trained. Nothing really existed for Krai outside of her training. She completely devoted herself in the arts of the Magi, and her magical talents flourished under the teaching of the high magi of the Academy. Krai took a liking to the magic of the natural world, which was rather uncommon for Magi during the third era. Krai became one of only two budding druids in the entire academy.

At the age of 20, as with all students, Krai underwent a final test, almost like a coming of age for magi. Something went wrong near the end of her test, and Krai felt herself being pulled towards a strange rift that had formed during her test. Soon after, Krai blacked out as she felt herself passing through this strange portal. She awoke about five minutes later to find herself in the center of Daruyam, a crowd of people surrounding her.

Krai lived in Daruyam for another year without incident, but that was when it all changed. The dictator of The Other Side tried to force her into his army, thinking that her druidic skills would be of great use to him when he could finally reverse the portals. Krai didn't take too kindly to this, being an independent woman and one of honor she couldn't allow herself to be controlled by a man clearly with no love for nature, so she escaped his grasp and found the rebellion.

Although, like most of her people, Krai was not one to get involved in the affairs of others, she felt honor bound to stop the dictator from controlling the universe, for it would be a much worse place if controlled by the likes of him.

Name: Sin

Planet: None, he was made, lives, and fights in the time warp.

Appearance: For a lack of a picture. Here's a description. Sin is a humanoid, and looks very similar to a human save a few alterations; sharp canine teeth that are kept hidden within slits of his gums, eyes that can turn black to increase sensitivity to light, ears that have can measure direction and distance, and fingers that sharpen to a point - rather than having nails, his skin actually hardens into a similar material of nails as you run down the length of his fingers. He has a similar structure to any male human, a similar build, however his ankles are jointed in a way that allows only the balls of his feet to create contact to the flooring for long lengths of time, giving him increased running strength, momentum, agility and breaking speed. He wears a thick stubble on his face along with a myriad of subtle scars here and there, his hair is black, and lengthy - with a fringe that covers his face for most of the time. His normal attire is his long trench coat and scarf; which he keeps wrapped around the lower half of his face while his fringe covers the top. This is accompanied by trousers, no shoes. While he may look human (a homeless human at that), he is in fact something entirely different, his skin - unlike ours - is actually a silk smooth like a snake. When aggravated, his skin rises like scales, starting at the tip of his limbs and coursing up towards his torso, unsheathing long whiskers. At this point, in his true nature, he is able to connect to his nature, his power, blood.

He is a blood-lancer, and the only of his kind. He uses a swarm of flies that live under his skin that he holds a mental connection with, if one fly bites, or is killed by an external creature, he will know where they are, what they smell like, and - if something he's came across before - what they are. His primary power is using blood to manipulate, bring out the worse in people, and - if in a weak enough state - control them. He uses blood to taste others memories, for information. He is the ideal hunter, the ideal tracker, the ideal predator.

His weapon is his dagger "wrath" charmed with the element of gore - it is his symbol of blood-letting; one of the seven dark arts in this world. With artistic drip lines running down the blades surface, the blade itself grows and becomes stronger as it feeds, unlocking and locking into a full grown blade as it's used. It's main use - save from killing people - is allowing sin to come to contact with the bloodline of enemies once the blade enters them; acting as some sort of magical bridge. This is what makes him most fearful in direct battle, as he becomes stronger with every strike - however also more unstable.

Sex: Male

Bio: Sin is a failure, he was [enter big bad guy here] failed attempt at creating the perfect army, and unlocking the ability to manipulate and change by will through the use of blood. However he was unstable, unable to turn fully into the beast he was. Instead, rather than use blood to manipulate and change himself into what he wanted, he could only do it to others - but that still proved useful. Born into an adult body, he has never lived a childhood, and does not know much else but what his master has allowed him to experience. So it was soon, after years of being an experiment, Omnitrax finally found a use for him, to hunt down the rebellion. And so, now he's the leader of the secret police, a force only the rebellion know is more than a rumour - Their names, the trackers. Made of the best hunters around. And sin, is their general.

Personality wise, sin keeps to himself and his mission. He does not lead armies but rather leads the elite few, he likes to lurk in the back, change the game through silence. The element of surprise is his nature.

I'll get my own character sheets up soon, hoping to start this up within the next few days. All have been accepted so far.

Name: Omnitrax

Planet: Terifarium, planet of ultimate chaos and disorder. The sky is red like blood, the ground black as the ashes of the bodies poured onto it. The characteristics of the people there are unknown other than most are ruthless killers. Very few are born with an intelligent mind, Omnitrax was one of them.

Side: Government (Duh)

Sex: Male

Appearance: Here.

Bio: Omnitrax was one of the few original portal inhabitants, one of the very first in the time warp. He used his coercion and persuasion skills to get others to join his cause, others who wanted to go home, at any cost. Many didn't know the extent that Omnitrax would go, and nobody knew the real reasons behind his want to reverse the portals. A tyrant ruler who will use brute strength and intelligent tactics to out root any resistance to his cause.

His powers are on legend, some say he can even turn into a dragon, but this has never been confirmed. However, his old age has slowed him somewhat over the years.

Name: Conlan, Knight of Kinslate.

Planet: Karayan, a medieval planet, filled with castles and kings, with fair plains and large mountains. Intellect and tactics rule over the land, with warlords and kings alike fighting for their honor, land, and their people.

Bio: Conlan was captain of the royal guard, a trained killing machine for the protection of the Kinslate Royal Family and Castle Kinston. When Prince Gregory Kinslate was on a hunting expedition, Conlan was one of the guards assigned to keeping an eye on him. On the day of the expedition, Prince Gregory had been following a deer all day, when the hunting party finally trapped the deer in the cave, Prince Gregory, famous for being afraid of the dark, sent Conlan into the cave to kill the deer.

Conlan reluctantly obeyed and entered the cave. The deer was easily killed, but deep in the cave Conlan noticed something sparkling in the distance. With infinite curiosity, he went towards it, though soon Conlan started to feel weak, his knees shook, and before he could turn back, it was too late. He slowly collapsed and passed out, waking up later in a strange forest, surrounded by many different creatures, creatures of different worlds.

Since then, Conlan has risen to power within the rebellion, and is probably it's most famous warrior, leading battalions of many races into battle when necessary, avoiding it when not necessary.

Bio: Katherine had always been an outdoors girl. She grew up on a ranch in Montana. She loved the wide-open spaces. She rode every chance she got. Worked hard on her parent’s ranch, she grew up happy and strong. At the age of 20, in her second year of college, Kate was given the chance to travel to San Francisco to continue her education.

In the following months, Kate spent her time split between classes and exploring the fascinating corners of the city. She especially loved exploring Chinatown. She found the culture, food and hint of magic and superstition hand in hand with the modern world a heady mix.

She spent her time wandering through import shops, the old apothecaries that the more traditionally minded people still frequented and curio shops. Her tiny apartment soon filled with odd little bits and pieces she’d picked up in her excursions. A particular piece of old carved jade was one of her favorite finds. It was a small carved dragon she wore on a silver chain about her neck. It had once adorned a courtesan’s hair ornament, but the ebony had long since been lost. Kate loved it and wore it everywhere. Its translucent green hues suited her peaches and cream skin.

Walking through the streets with a takeout box of spicy noodles, Kate came across the gated entrance to secluded garden. The gates were painted gold, at least she assumed it was paint. Old Chinese script was carved into the wood surrounding the metal that made up the old gate. Pushing her way through the old gate, Kate seemed to enter a world that time forgot. A soft bed of leaves deadened her footfalls as she moved about the seemingly enchanted garden. The sounds of the bustling city faded away without her noticing. The twisting garden path had so many twists and turns, that Kate lost all sense of direction.

And suddenly everything changed around her.

So. I've been thinking, and I was wondering if people were still interested in doing this, I can promise you I can get something up by tomorrow night at the latest. I'm really in a writing mood.
