What will be explained here are in-depth details. Let's begin shall we?

Technology: Futuristic. Nuff said. Jk! Advanced to the point where Lasers, Plasma, Flying Cars, Beam up pads, Transmitter Watches, or whatever futuristic gadget you come up with are common things.

Warring Factions: The peaceful country of Lyrana vs. The war oriented country of Viranthica vs. The Empire of the Fallen Moon.

Cause of War: Viranthica feared that Lyrana would take a giant leap ahead of them and start a conquest of dominance. Fearing for the worst, they decided to invade the peaceful country with the same intent they thought Lyrana had against them.

Other Existence: The Empire of the Fallen Moon. A secret organization comprised of unsatisfied people from both Lyrana and Viranthica. War Veterans that covertly united themselves with the goal of conquering the world and plunging it under a single rule lead the Empire.

War Toys: As it stands, both Lyrana and Viranthica share almost the same weaponry used in war. Lyrana having a slight advantage over Viranthica due to a more advanced technology they themselves came up with after being taught by Viranthica during the time of peace. Airships, Giant Sky Bases, Cruisers, Fighter Planes, Bombers, Land Destroyers, and much more. The Highlight of the Front lines would be the MECA.

MECA: Giant Humanoid frames constructed using Gravidium Alloy and Leinium for its power core. Multi-Environment Combat Armor, Codenamed MECA are the pride of both warring countries, including the Empire of the Fallen Moon.

These machines are impervious to normal bullets due to the material the frame is made of. Gravidium is an alloy that can greatly affect gravity when powered with Leinium. A mineral that can only be found deep in the Earth's Lei Lines. These Machines boast exceptional adaptability to different terrains and are designed to perform at maximum even under sudden terrain changes. A truly remarkable creation only given to worthy soldiers of ranking Captain and above.

The standard weaponry of MECAs vary from different Melee weapons, from Swords, Fists, Scythes, Tonfas and more. Basically, the Machine is custom made for the pilot and is designed to project the pilot's own combat skills. Since they are impervious to bullets, Laser pistols or rifles come in as their secondary weapon.

Rumor says that both countries sought new ways to improve the machines by adding and experimenting on different kinds of systems that harness and greatly multiply the pilot's combat ability. Thus the OverBoost system was created and became a standard for every MECA.

OverBoost: A System that can be found in every MECA. The main purpose of the system is to greatly enhance the combat abilities of the pilot for a limited time. The system itself is not yet perfected and constant usage of it takes an extreme toll to the pilot's body. Past experiments resulted in many deaths of test pilots. To date, both countries have reduced the risk of the OverBoost to mental instability. Not much of an achievement but is certainly better than losing a pilot.

OverBoost Special: One interesting fact about the system is that it allows the pilot to harness an ability that is completely opposite to what he has. An example was the test pilot Sigurd who was physically weak. Sigurd's MECA displayed tremendous strength upon activation of the OverBoost system.
Another case was Gareth. A pilot whom according to his data, had exceptionally slow reaction time. But with the OverBoost system, Gareth proved to be as quick as the wind. His MECA displayed frightening speed.

The cause of this phenomena remain unknown and research is still being conducted to date.
