Reporting in

Greetings to all. My name is Jim Whitley, I'm from North Carolina, and when I'm not busy taunting orphans and drowning kittens in the river, I can be found reading, writing, and reenacting long-forgotten wars. I've been writing and roleplaying for quite some time now; five years, by last count. I've done it in numerous online games and most recently at Roleplay Gateway, but tend to grow quickly bored of the hackneyed ideas, poor grammar, and general mediocrity of such places. I'm hoping this will be the start of something better. If you need any help at all with any RPs relating to military matters, specifically prior to the 1960's, drop me a line.

War reenactment?! Then you'll love my George Washington fanfic about the civil war. Here's a few bits.


"Bleamy!" Cried George, as a folly of cannon fodder flew over his head. "Those Spanish will never take Mexico from us! Not after what they did to Canada!"

But the might of the Spanish Cannon proved to much for George, as they cut through his elite riflemen. The horses were simply to scared to charge. It was beginning to look like the end for USA.

But low, on the horizon, an army of dogs appeared. It was Kangas Khan come to save the day with his war mongrels. "Go my preciouses!" Kried Kangas.

"Shuck me blue!" Yelled the Spanyards, as they were forced to reteat.

"My many thanks good sir." Said George after the battle was over. "Care to come to my tent for a cup o tea?"

"I would like that." Said Kangas katiously.

After several cups of tea, the two man sat talking of their exploits. "And before they knew it, those Chinese saw their stupid wall, EXPLODE! until there was nothing left. And that's why I rule the entire continent of Asia." Koncluded Kangas

"My dear boy." George said, as he leaned in, "That's the stuff war is made of. What do you plan on conquering next?"

Kangas krossed the room, leaning in as well, "It appears there is going to be a Pitched battle, very soon."

They're lips parted slightly, neither man want to make the first advance. Their faces hung inches away from one another. Quietly George whispered, "You know I, wear this wig for a reason."

Kangas kut him off, "Stop, you had me at Konquer."
