Jemi is five foot five with a athletic physic. She either wears an outfit similar to the above or over sized, last-minute-thrown-on clothes. She has messy, shoulder length brown hair with bright, olive green eyes.

Personality

Jemi is naturally curious and can get lost in her daydreaming pondering, often involving computers and machines. She has a huge sense of selflessness and is relationship-oriented (being from a fairly large family). She's social and friendly, but also reserved and defensive. But if someone needed her for whatever reason, she would put all her complaints aside to help that person whether she liked it or not. Although she's not a workaholic, she takes the jobs she has seriously and doesn't like to have things half done.

Background

Jemi was born and raised on the planet Corellia where both her parents were tech traders. They would move from place to place because her father always wanted to find bigger and better business, so they never really lived in one place for too long. Growing up, Jemi loved and grew a small amateur for tinkering with robots and other machines and play with programs when she wasn't helping with the family business. She also loved making useless junk inventions out of useless junk and scraps.

Still young, Jemi eventually held a lot of responsibility for both the family business and her younger siblings when both of her parents became severely ill and unable to do anything out of the house. Her amateur skills were helpful when fixing up old junk and reselling it. She wanted to get proper care for her parents, but their poor finance and the conflict between the Empire and the rebels made it impossible for them to move from where they were. With the increasing workload, Jemi would have nightmares of her parents dieing in pain every night that she would blame on stress. One night, one of her younger brothers came in to tell her that their parents were not waking up. Although she had an assumption of what their last minutes were from her nightmares, she didn't want to get too superstitious and claimed it as coincidence.

Her and her siblings didn't live alone for long before distant relatives picked them up to live with them. Jemi continued to her tinkering for the new family business and would often join her relatives on their trips to Coronet, their favorite place to sell and trade because of the tourists and pilots that would very often visit. This was also where she met her closest friends, amateur technicians and programmers like her, and trade hints and tricks. Coronet being what it was, Jemi became a social drinker, something that her relatives didn't know, and frequented plenty of social events in shady places with her friends. Although it was wrong for her to do in the first place, she kept herself from doing anything really stupid and returned home sober and normal.

Her dreams became more of problem as she was having them about people she didn't even know, but she kept from telling anyone else. Others noticed that nicks and scratches she received from playing with mech would heal in a matter of a few days and other weird things like her knowing what another was thinking or about to do. Again, she took it all as a coincidence, but her relatives thought of it as a bad thing and started treating Jemi and her siblings more harshly. Jemi became more reserved towards her relatives and would often have to be defensive for herself and her siblings.

On a trip to Coronet, Jemi told one of her friend about a dream she had of the Empire's fall. When her dream came true, word by word, her friend told her relatives of it not knowing the that an outburst would come out of it. Fed up, Jemi left home and moved in with her loudmouth friend and their other friends/roommates, promising her brothers and sisters that when she gets her own living she'd take them in with her. She remained jobless at first, only being able to take up small work. On a low budget move, Jemi and her friends to Coruscant. Again, she took up small technician jobs.

One night, she felt an odd urge to go somewhere she's never been before and soon bumped into a man. She vented to him about her situation and it mellowed down to a conversation about her amateur skills. He recognized her skills and offered her job on his Cruiser. Seeing this as a the first and probably only big opportunity she would have at a real job, she joined Galik Fyyat, a mercenary.
