New to the board, not new to RPing.

Hello there.
I'm a long-time roleplayer (have probably been roleplaying on-off since 2003,) who is just recently getting back into the swing of things. I'm always looking for that one undiscovered diamond in the rough which has the potential to become something inspiring.

However, as I'm sure most people in the RPing community realize quickly, most RPs die in the planning phase and many others die before they really get up off the ground. You guys seem to have a nice little community here that piqued my interest.

Genres I like:
-Anything underused and under-appreciated. My current interests are:
-Steampunk (Top priority)
-Cyberpunk
-Western/Weird Western (Stephen King's Dark Tower saga, Wild Wild West, something along that line.)
-Far Futuristic
-Pretty much anything technology related
-Zombie Outbreak RPs
-Realistic with a touch of fantasy.

Genres I will almost never RP:
-Vampire/Werewolf RPs. It's done. Next.
-High School RPs.
-Classic Fantasy (Elves, Knights, Kings, Princesses, etc.)

So yeah, if anyone is interested in starting an RP from the aforementioned genres, feel free to PM me. I'm always on the lookout.

I too am a HUGE fan of Steam Punk, though I'm not aware of an RP in that genre going at the moment. There are a bunch of very good RPers and writers here. Dive in at the deep end and peruse the boards and threads, you'll find a really brilliant group of enthusiastic writers here.
