Whaddup

Saw the topic someone posted on RP&FF over on GameFAQs before it was presumably deleted, and curiosity got the best of me. Haven't really checked the site out much as of yet, but I can say you guys seem to take yourselves quite seriously here. Not saying anything negative, just an observation. Not really much for sharing personal details over the interwebs, seems like kind of a waste of time, mine and yours, but I will say I'm a 20 year old student (that is to say, unemployed), write as a hobby, and have been RPing for...6 years now, I think, or close to it. My biggest reason for even posting here is because this is one of the only sites I've seen with a style and quality bearing even a passing resemblance to what I've grown used to.

All of that said, I'm off to take a more intensive look around this board of yours. Thought it was only polite to introduce myself.

Hey there, and welcome. There are a few of us that have a...sustained sense of humor (*eyes Fluffball*). In terms of role-playing however, I like to think that we take it more seriously here, as is our purpose.

Question, actually. What is up with my avatar? It's supposed to be translucent, except for Boo, and this is the first forum with those random lines behind it.

That's interesting. I put it in Photoshop, and the lines and the white background remain. It, apparently, isn't transparent. Did you upload it to the board, or are you hosting it somewhere else? (I doubt that would make a difference though.)

Hosting it on imageshack, uploaded from my computer. Not that it matters, as someone has apparently resolved the issue for me. Thanks to whoever it was.

You should probably flip it around, too.

Oh, and yeah. Look out for people like Shoelaces - they take themselves and everything else that goes on here waaaay too seriously.

Mmmm... maybe I'm a sucker, but I doubt any of you could do any better, resisting the adorable-ness, either.

I don't understand why people always seem to think they're posting late if they don't post within the first two days of a topic being created. It's quite odd. The good thing about forums is that you're never late. It's still there by the time you find it.
