Grey's Anatomy/ House-esque Hospital Themed Drama!

So yeah...I think the title is pretty self-explanatory. But yeah. We're currently open to suggestions and ideas on how this can all go about but as of now we have nothing but the gist of it all. We don't even have a hospital name. Oh, and this will be mine and Eternity's love child. So yeah...any takers?

As I said in chat I am in. I like the show house and I already have an idea for a rather crazy doctor person.

I am interested, but I don't have some kind of crazy quirk request like a cane or fear of water.

Here is the link to the previous RP that was solely based on the Grey's Anatomy (And slight Private Practice) series. The RP itself, unfortunately, never took off, but pretty decent characters were created and I believe that was the angle that the creator was going for. She wanted it to be like the series, primarily character-driven, so that the story is created, truly, between the characters and how they interact with the different personalities. However, that would either call for many players, or many characters, and commitment from each person to not only just play their part, but come up with a new addition to the story with each post or so, so that it flows rather than stands still and stales.

Lest you have an idea for a story yourself.

As for a hospital name that doesn't 'suck', you requested, I'll have to think on that one. >.<

Here is the character sheet they used, and a prompt for a background story for the character so that not only could the creator of the roleplay see what kind of roleplayers and minds she was dealing with, but to also see if the players could contribute decent, creative stories to the over all roleplay in attempt to keep it from going dry.

Landon is 6'2, wavering healthily between 180lbs and 205lbs with his height and work out routine combined. His irish curls burn with his heritage's flaming color, contrasting against his paleish- lightest faint of a tanned skin to bring about a pair of rosy cheeks when he's embarrassed or laughed a bit too hard after a drink or two. His eyes are a deep green in the center, outcast by the brown swirls that catch on the outside and gave his late mother the saying, "They've gone brown 'cause y'full o' crap!"

There is one flaw in this seemingly normal man of appearance, and that is the scar lined across his back and through his front, where he was once pierced in a car accident, along with his mother. She was not as fortunate to survive, deeming him the motivation and redemption to become a doctor and save the other people in the world who were less fortunate from the doctors who could not save his mother. They were very close.

Personality: Landon is the "nice guy" who doesn't get it when he's done something wrong, as he only meant it for the best interest of anyone involved. He's charming, he's sweet, and he doesn't like talking about himself, and that gives everyone else the open door to just vent to him all they'd like about their life; which they do, and he's become the 'therapist' of his friends and coworkers, as his lips have always been sealed, and his advice always seems from the heart.

All in all, Landon is a pretty decent guy, but like every person, he's got a tick. That's his mother and his older sister, who's had a few bad run ins with boyfriends and ex's in her time. Speak ill of either of the two most important (currently, anyway) women in his life, and you'd never hear the end of it.

James is an ex-smoker, and has the rugged lines of one after having smoked for 10 years. (And the attitude of one). He only stands at about 5'11, has a natural tan despite working at all hours in a hospital, and was blessed with the dark eyes to match it all in one package. His hair is usually as short as it appears in the picture, and so is his facial hair: Tame, but edgy.

His scars are minor, only ranging from the minor nicks here and there and cigarette burns from college days that line up his arms.

Personality: He's not a pervert, but he's a smart ass to everyone but his higher ups and patients. He's not a jerk, and he'll try more often than not just to get that "What a smart ass" smile from just about anyone. Rumors fly that he's a player, or that he has no heart and soul, or that maybe he just sold it to the devil to land him such great talent in neuro-surgery, no one knows. But truth be told, he's got a heart for every patience that passes through his doors.

He is not excited about being an ex-smoker.

He's known for shrugging off people when they ask him about his personal life. The excuse is always, "Not in the work place", "None of yours to know", or the ever famous, "You'd like to be that personal life, wouldn't ya?". People eventually stopped asking him, and instead made up the rumors to speculate, assuming he'd just deny or accept them as they came.

Despite all of this, James is a hard worker, through and through, and that's the only way he went from who he was to who he is in the hospital. No cheating, no stealing, no lies.

Personality:
Toshio is generally a kind, easy going man. He's laid back, and rarely lets things get to him. He seems to be fairly compassionate and has a very people-oriented nature. Toshio tends to be altogether an honest man, who works on a schedule and has a habit of timing his day to assure he remains on key with the workings of the hospital.

To people, he reacts well. To a bad attitude, he rarely loses his cool and to many, he is believed to not share any figment of a temper. But should it be raised out of him, Toshio will definitely put on his strikingly stern persona and put people in their place. He tries to refrain from this, but can definitely pull it out of his sleeve when needed. To patients, he has a grand smile and a caring, gentle deep voice that seems to usher on their own peace- as many people already have a hard enough time with hospitals. As well with his main specialty being Pulmonology, he has a habit of studying body language. Breathing specifically, but as well shoulder position, breathing into the chest or stomach, expressions, twitches, and their total collective appearance. This can, in many ways, aid him in understanding his fellow doctors and nurses as well.

Toshio is not perfect though, he shares his insecurities and fears like the rest of the world, but they tend to be harmless and unseen by the world. His first phobia is children. Now this is not in the sense that he is afraid of children, but more or less the thoughts of letting down a child who needs help. A lot of times this can cause him to put more focus and effort into a younger person's case than normal, which turns into stress and can make him a little off balance from his usual tone-perfect self. That is his most major problem, the rest are able to come out in the rp.

Tattoos- A pair of wings on her back that consist of angel wings, pixie, fairy, butterfly, and dragonfly wings. A mix, it is very unusual and has an interesting meaning to her.
Another set of tattoos are on the inside of her wrist, consisting of tribal doves symbolic for freedom.

Personality:
Ryan is a simple woman, who's get so much complexity under her skin. By the first looks, she's a confident, somewhat cocky young woman who's got her pride in just the right doses, and doesn't seem to be afraid of anything. She's easy to strike up conversation with, and can usually make the shyest soul open up. Her shameless ways make her the kind of person who is unafraid of the truth and who's honesty can strike a chord that many don't find these days. She loves little things like simple small talk, music, and laughter. With those things alone, she can remain at a rather happy state. As well, she takes her work totally serious and can be very career-minded in the hospital. Often she can come off as generous as well, never the type to be self-centered when it comes to the help of others.

Around patients, she's always doing her best. A big smile and brilliant eyes, she tends to snatch up attention easily. She's able to take her patients' minds off of things and create an ease with her gentle laughter and domination in conversation. Ryan always tries to keep her head on straight around her patients.

Her problems come into play somewhat often. Because Ryan is a natural born Iraqi woman, she tends to take a hard blow from some patients who ask for another caretaker because of her nationality. Other problems come into play with her inability to take orders perfectly well, as she has a hard time feeling inferior. Though nine and a half times out of ten she can do an order perfectly, when someone puts her down it does one of two things: it either encourages her to do it better, or she'll pass it off to someone else and disappear to blow off steam. Ryan also has a hard time dealing with smokers, as cigarette smoke is possibly one of her least favorite things- even a peeve to some degree.
