Swedish. The band is Finnish, but they sing in Swedish because it sounds more 'troll like'. They play, after all, is "Trollish Hoedown Metal". The concept was thought up by two drunken friends, go figure.

Ah, well, close enough. Swedish, Finnish, Dutch, German, that shit they call German that they speak in Switzerland, and a bunch more of them - well, they probably all sound pretty similar to someone who doesn't have any basis in the languages.

Hmm, I don't know about that. German and Swedish, maybe, but not Finnish. Which, actually, isn't even a Germanic language. It is more akin to the northern Slavic languages and is vastly different. Though, I guess someone with no knowledge could assume it was similiar, but it looks/sounds quite different at even a first listen/glance.

True. But Finnish originates from… I can’t recall the actual term used for it but the languages from the northern regions of the Baltic States. Which, the languages there aren’t that much like German anymore, if they were ever once part of the Germanic languages. Finnish in general though is vastly different from the Scandinavian languages. Course, unlike most people assume, Finland wasn’t part of Scandinavia… in fact, they were among the very few people the Norse were ever afraid of. lol.
