Hanbuki the Destroyer OOC

Since the beginning of time, mankind has lived alongside many exotic and dangerous creatures. Though these creatures are powerful, and pose a threat to the human race, their lower intelligence allows them to be subjugated and controlled by man. So it has always been. But what happens when a creature is born that is more powerful than man, as intelligent as man, and may even be higher up on the evolutionary chain than man? That is when the laws of power are thrown out of whack, and an entire civilization is put at risk.

Europe, the Middle Ages. The royalty are corrupt and greedy, stealing everything from the peasants. The knights are swaggering bullies who pick on anyone they can find. The peasants are poor, unkempt, and dying. A good king with virtuous knights is a myth that has proven untrue. Chivalry is truly dead...Or is it?

It started small. An entire garrison of knights killed here, a royal treasury demolished there. No one thought much of it. Then, a Baron's entire army was wiped out in five seconds, and his fortress was subsequently destroyed. The people began to speak of evil coming to the land. Some spoke of the work being done by a single man...

What man could destroy a castle with his bare hands? What man could take on an entire army and not sustain a single scratch? What man could turn Medieval society on its head? None, but Hanbuki the Destroyer.
