Name: Megedagik
Age: 22
Race: Apsaalooke (Crow)
Profession: Warrior
Background: Megedagik was a born warrior. Having grown up and watching his brothers and father hunt and fight for their tribe the Crow boy wanted nothing more than to ride into battle with his family. Megedagik is considered a bully of sorts and is often looking for a reason to get into a fight with anyone who would question his prowess in the art of war. If one that can be said about him is his skill with knife and tomahawk are unmatched among the warriors of his tribe.

Race: Apsaalooke (Crow)
Profession:
-She is skilled in sewing and making garments and clothes
-Is being trained in Shamanism and healing works (First aid and mess)
Background: Niyabi walks in the footsteps of her elder brother as best she can, while having yet her own path she tries to keep close to heart. She's fiery and stern, but only to foreigners. Ever since her childhood, she's been raised up with horrible thoughts of the white man to bring her down on anyone beyond her own people. Now, she's falling into the path of a Shaman, with the dreams of protecting her brother when he goes to battle.

-Guardian (When in peace, he protects and watches the little ones and takes them out to see the buffalo)
Background: Achak grew up with no mother, only a cool-hearted father who saw for him the crimson-drenched path of a fighter. As he grew older, he was trained to be void of lovely emotions, that he would find a fine bride in his tribe, and that he would bear children; love not included most likely. He hoped he could find some other way of escaping these things; to fulfill one dream at a time, but only time tells these stories. His favored of all the tribe's women falls upon his little sister, who he cherishes for eternities to come. With no mother, she was his hope. Younger, and a bit more naive, Niyabi stands to protect him when he needs it, and provide a sibling love that pushes him forward. But sometimes it is not enough. What if, behind the facade of burly brown muscles and war-paint, lied the lack of will for battle? To Achak, this war is, and always will be, a useless blood-bath.

Sweet! More natives! I'll let you guys post about your characters, considering that my next post is basically going to be the chief making an announcement about wanting to join local native groups in attacking meadowbrook.

That said, if anyone else wants to make that speech it is fine, I will just go over my character's perception of it!

I'm good with just going on ahead. He did indeed seem pretty low-key about the profile thing and he admitted that he might be a little slow. Your characters seem cool to me and I don't think he'd mind.

Background: Most of Marian's tribe was killed by soldiers in an attempt to scare the natives away from "their territory," when she was very young. One of the younger soldiers took pity on the child whose family he had killed, and so he took her home to his wife. They gave her a proper Christian name and upbringing, and she loves them like family, but still feels a niggling doubt about her identity when she goes to school and all the girls stare at her with fear.

I read through the rp so far, and had a... spark of inspiration
Name: Daniel Miller
Age: 32
Race: Caucasian
Profession: Hired Gun
Background: Dan grew up on a farm with his parents and siblings. The land was bad, and although never truly down and out, the family weren't ever that far from it. At the age of 19, he got in a fight, and killed his opponent. With a street full of spectators to point the finger, Dan was thrown in the town's dilapidated jail, to await a public hanging.
However, this was about the time the war broke out. As the northern forces drew near, Dan was sprung from jail by a bunch of idealistic kids, hoping to join a nearby band of confederate soldiers, and fight in the war. Dan, with no other direction, joined them, and managed to make it through the war with his life.
In the post war years, Dan attempted to make his fortune doing mercenary work, gunning down murderers and enemies of the state. He eventually came into contact with Paul Hickock, who had been recruited by an east Oregon mining company to "relocate" a native american tribe away from land due for expansion. Miller joined Hickock, and a group of other men, and found himself to be quite suited to this line of work. Having the rough strategy and technical abilities to wipe out most of a settlement within a few weeks, Miller developed a reputation for being very good at his job.

Hopefully i'll be able to get going soon enough, although that mightn't be the best idea, seeing as after tomorrow, I wont have any internet access for about a week.
Oh well, we'll see what happens, Clint Eastwood here I come

Since the RP creator hasn't been on, you guys should just go ahead and start posting and see what happens. I'll post after someone else, or a few someone else's.

I don't know, Rusty. I was hoping the thread creator would return, but it doesn't look like he is. I don't see how to keep this up without him, especially when only you and I seem to be interested in continuing.
