I'm currently checking my email, replying to threads, loading a video, and waiting for Jonathan to text me back to let me know how to wipe my computer.

Having a discussion with a friend about Religion. He follows the accepted Gospels, everything in the Bible, and so forth. After a mention of the Gospel of Judas by myself the other day he looked into it and now it is leading into a talk about that where I am debating the logical points to the Gnostic believes, and how they are no more victim of fallacy or mysticism than the accepted beliefs of Christianity.

This sort of debate occurs a lot with me and people in general, and a good deal between he and myself. We couldn't stand at farther ends really, he being the strongly devote Christian and myself a 'heathen' Pantheist, but they are interesting dicussions and I do love theology.

I find myself strongly disliking how you keep referring to it as being "heathen" when it's not. Just because it was considered heathenism in the past doesn't mean it's widely accepted to be such any more. I know religious debates are still strong points for animosity, but openly, people tend to show a bit more respect for people of other religions, and one cannot be legally persecuted for their beliefs.

Well, I mentioned it that time because it was actually brought up previously in said conversation, and has been before; which is why only one person in my entire family (my mother) knows that I am not Christian. To speak of it to anyone else is only inviting discrimination and an avoidable argument.

Other times, and generally it is the more common, I use the term as a sort of light-hearted humor for myself more than anything. You've my apologies for any discontent created by it.

I don't know. I probably shouldn't be bothered by it because I'm an atheist myself, but it just seems incredibly disrespectful even if you're using it to refer to yourself. I know if I followed that religion, I would be pissed if someone called me a heathen, so I definitely wouldn't use it to describe myself. As a comparison, I can only think of it in terms of black people thinking it's all right to call themselves "niggers" when they get pissed if anyone else does it. I just don't think it's right in any situation.

Anyway, to keep on topic, I'm currently... well... debating-ish with you... and I'm loading a couple videos on YouTube to make sure they're what I want before I put them into the post I've made for you in your introduction thread, Melancholy. XD

Yeah, I understand what you mean by the that. The humor I find in it myself is at the closed-minded views of the past really. The way I look at is it is just a word used by those with more narrow-minds, who usually are ignorant to the truth of things and thing with a bias. That is why I find humor in it and don't get angry if someone were to truly call me a heathen or similiar. I do, however, understand and respect your view on the matter. As said, you've my sincere apologies for that.

Well, I have no problems if it's merely an amusing thing. I just hate when people seriously degrade themselves and end up pissed when others use the same term. I tend to joke around a lot, too, with everyone, and I'm sure that would end up as a joke, too, among my offline friends if there was one like you, so yeah. I just thought you were using the term to make it clear to people what you were, and I thought that was kind of a crappy way to go about it...

Ugh. I'm paranoid about even going to Amazon before I wipe my computer. I just need my computer-programmer boyfriend to tell me how to go about wiping it. Bleh... Then I need to go through the long process of redownloading everything... At least there really isn't a huge amount on my computer about which to worry. I really only need to worry about downloading my messengers, an anti-virus thing, and iTunes, and my Paint Shop Pro.

Currently trying to press myself downstairs to work out during this rainy day. It's kind of hard to exercise alone, in the dank, dark basement. Instead, I've been debating my future with my own self, and dreaming up stories. Perhaps a nice breakfast will jump start my hands into productive activity.

I am currently about to leave for class. I'm not looking forward to sitting in that class for the next 3 hours, especially since I have other work I need to be doing (a commission).

I myself would love to exercise alone in such a place. Just take some proper music down with me and things would be good.

Currently I am listening to Gothic Kabbalah by Therion while contemplating a few responses to things and literature possibilities.

I also enjoy deep, poignant discussion, especially about spirituality. It's edifying and challenging, part of the journey for truth.

Putting off my homework whilst surfing FOG and catching up on things I've missed.

I'm about to eat something small for dinner before heading off to class, which starts in an hour. I wonder what we're doing today...? I hope we don't get home TOO late though. I'd like to come home and have time to unwind and maybe play a little Pokemon (ahh, addicted!) before bed.

I'm trying to write a good, descriptive post for Sephiris: The Price of Peace. I'm too distracted though, with my son and all.

I just got home from work, and I have a night of multi-tasking ahead of me. I'm checking my email and reading this thing for an event on Roliana. I'm also going to work on a post for the Avatar role play, and after that I intend to read the posts I missed in tLotR role play and make my reply. =3

Listening to the cd I got earlier and sitting back reading the nonsense going on inside an IRC and wondering what the hell is being put in the food kids eat these days...
