Loki, I made Silvone's and my own, and Weiss made Kalon's.

Kalon, if you don't want to/can't make it, I'd be happy to have a go at it.

The only reason why I don't jump on it now is because I don't know if I have the backgrounds/fonts that you (Loki) are talking about.

It might be a good idea, if you'd like to have a go at it, Ryona. The round handprint symbol would be perfect for the shields you have, and the thorny plants seem to fit. If you make a red, stony background, I think it may work quite well. ^^ I kinda like doing blood, but death and skulls... not so much.

You could use the same font you use on everybodies, and use the quote he had before:

"What is the color of night?"

"Sanguine, my Brother."

I'm sure it'd look awesome. ^^
Also, if you're looking for more fonts, I can give you the names of some of my favorites. I've been downloading several sweet fonts recently. xD

Her complexion is tanned from her enjoyment of the sun. Bhu's natural red hair is often pulled to the right in a side-ponytail, tumbling to her elbow. Her features are small and pixie-like; round light-hazel eyes, a pronounced, yet feminine nose and thin, curled lips. Sighlent, your character has an hourglass figure. That doesn't describe an average bust. An hourglass is when the waist is like... ten inches smaller than the hips and breasts. She's also not tan if you look to Kalon's rendition.

To get an hourglass figure you ideally should already be starting with a hip to ratio where your waist is at least ten inches smaller than your hips (eg: waist 28-hips 39 or waist 24 and hips 34 or 31 waist and 46 hips).
~ Taken from here

So yeah... The only thing that's really the same are the height, hair colour, and eye colour.

I'm really not trying to start anything I just thought I should let you know that this is actually incorrect. I have an hour glass figure Kathryn and by that I have not broad but long, wide shoulder blades an average or below bust, tiny waist, and then wide hips.

Hourglass figure has little to do with your shoulders and everything to do with your bust, waist and hips. In my case, I would be the 'banana' girl in the second reference. Small bust, average waist and average hips. Hourglass is much more sexy and voluptuous. :3

Either way it still doesn't have to do entirely with your breasts. Because I have small boobs and still have that figure because despite having no breasts the general area around my rib cage (if that makes sense) is wider.

"Enough"

Dark fire erupts from the air around the people talking. A malevolent presences fills the room and from it emerges something dark and terrible. Baleful yellow eyes gleam from beneath it's hood and as it raises a hand the darkness gathers around it.

"Enough of this. Begone or face my wrath"

It's every guy's dream to have their thread turned into a discussion over female body types... I think...

It would certainly explain why he hasn't returned yet, he's just waiting to see how far this conversation will go.

Kalon's Portrait Studio - Page 9 Empty Re: Kalon's Portrait Studio

Um... Having a "wider" ribcage/shoulder thing is the exact same thing as it being broad. Broad doesn't mean you're fat or have big bones. It only means the area is wide. I just thought you should know that, so you don't have to try to word the same thing differently to make it seem more appealing.

Goat's right about the shoulders not being in the equation. You may be measuring too high. When you measure your bust, you're supposed to measure just below the nipple itself ((so it sort of overlaps the bottom of the areola)). My best friend is a seamstress, and I had to get my exact measurements for my Elf dress, so yeah. I don't know about other people, but when measured properly, the measuring tape is just below my shoulder blades. You're not supposed to raise the tape higher in the back, either.

I'm not saying that an hourglass figure has to mean huge breasts. It's just less likely that someone is an hourglass just because of their broad ribcage.

Anyway, as far as body types go, I'm a rectangle in the first, and a banana in the second. I mean, I'm still a woman, so I have a bit of curve, by my hips or only a little bigger than my bust. My best friend is a pear.

Kalon, of course you prefer lithe forms. Elves are you fetish. XD

Hermes, I was referring to Sighlent saying her shoulders weren't "broad" but "wide." Same thing.

Ryona, my best friend a pear, too, but hers is far more extreme than yours. If she had just six more inches to her bust, she would be an hourglass. That's how much of a pear she is. XD

Anyway, yes... Perhaps this discussion has allowed Kalon to learn more about the female form. Perhaps it will help him with his art?

Haha! Look at what we've started!

I'm just a tiny girl all 'round.
Lithe is the right word I'm trying to find, probably!
Pear is such a good shape. Big hips show a woman's ability to bare children!
And they're hot. And impressive! My hips are larger in comparison to the rest of me... which isn't all the big.

I'm excited to get my portrait!
I must wait patiently. :3
