The Last Great Cause

The world has fallen down the rabbit hole. The whole dimension has been ripped in half, and there’s no hope of it ever being stitched back together.

All of our beloved myths have become reality, imaginary friends have materialized, nightmares and dreams have slipped out of the minds of their owners, both animals and stuffed animals have learned to speak, and the landscape of our earth has forever changed. The technology, too, has changed into something that could only before exist in our imaginations.

Seasons have personalities now, and their own title.
There’s Mother Spring, Daughter Fall, Father Winter, and Summer Son. Mother and Son are gentle spirits, while Father and Daughter are malicious.

They act as higher beings, and some sense they are, but they have no interest in dealing with anyone or anything.

But they’re the least of the humans’ worries as their world is spiraling out of control too fast for them to adjust. New leaders and armies of nightmares and the undead have began to take control; take hold of whatever their cruel hands can touch and twist it into something ugly. That means turning lands into their dark desires and drafting humans either into slavery or experiments.

One leader in particular, Leader Hazzard, has gained more control than most other dictators and commands the Mayday Army who carries weaponry far beyond what we could comprehend. He is a ruthless leader that finds little pleasure in anything other in gaining more power for his rather large power hunger. It is rumored that Father and Daughter is helping his forces.

Though the human numbers have decreased at an alarming rate, the remaining ones banned together in a resistance to take down each leader from their high thrones one at a time; starting with Hazzard. This is the last chance they have to take back what use to be theirs. And they’re not alone. Not all that has changed have evil intentions. Some creatures have pitied the humans and decided to join on the fight, believing that all should be equal if this new world is to survive. There are some humans out there that seek Mother and Son, after hearing the rumors of Father and Daughter helping Hazzard, in hopes of finding compassion in them.

Here are some rules:

1. No god-modding. Nothing is uncooler than that.
2. No controlling another person’s character, and no killing another character without the person’s permission.
3. The weapons and creatures here can be anything of our imagination. So be creative! You can come up with your own race, if you don’t want to be a human, or you can simply be a stuffed animal; you can be anything. As long as whatever you are and what weapon you use isn’t the “all powerful” type, it’s approved.
4. You can describe your surroundings any way you want, as mentioned, they have changed completely. I’m looking for a lot of creativity here also.
5. There are three parties here; you’re either with Hazzard or you’re with the humans, or you are a neutral party.
6. I would like a lot of posting. I don’t want this to die on me.
7. This isn’t going to be completely based upon action. Raw emotions, inner demons, anything is the sort is encouraged.
8. I can change or add rules at any time.

Personality: Jade is the tough girl. She's cool by nature, and has a nonchalance that doesn't seem to fade unless it's really called for to be otherwise. She's nice when she chooses it, but her decisions to be kind are as varying as the ocean. Jade has soft spots that should not be touched upon, while she maintains a mostly hard and controlled exterior.

-> She travels with Theo, her Guardian Angel/Imaginary Friend
-> As a child, she had psychic abilities, one of which allowed her to see Theo, her Angel
-> Now, her only remaining psychic powers are the ability to tell whether or not a person has good intent when she shakes their hands or touches them
-> She fights with two chakram. Each chakram breaks apart at the center and forms two hand-held semi-circle blades.

Personality: Theo is ominous. He is quiet and solemn, and seems to carry a sense of duty about him. He is lighthearted nonetheless, and cares deeply for the people around him. Theo is amazingly sympathetic, and is brave beyond good sense. He easily will take a risk for people whom he cares about. He also finds himself seeking meaning to the wrecked new world, feeling alone at times. But beware; Theo has the temper of a Fallen; thus should not be toyed with lightly.
Other:
-> Theo has four wings (2 pair). One set is black and wraps around his body like a toga. The other pair is white, and is used for flying.
-> Beneath the set of black wings that is almost always wrapped around his body, Theo is nude. But beyond the nudity is a scarred creature. From his encounter with the evil of this new realm, he has been dissected and toyed with. Along his chest are several thick scars that are so fresh that the wiry black stitching still remains. At his chest, over his heart, is a glassy heart shape that allows one to look inside his body. Inside, there is a small key- but he does not yet know what the key in his heart unlocks.
-> Theo has the ability to conjure arrows/javelins of light. Instead of firing them with a bow- which he could choose to do- he throws them like Zeus in older Greek myths.
