Good Morning...

Hello all. I'm Avalon, invited here from RolePlay Gateway. I specialize in fantasy, sci-fi, romantic, and fan-based rps -usually from anime and video games. My rp pet-peeve is when people post their character sheet and then ask 'Am I clear?'. I don't say anything unless you've got something wrong, in which case I address it. Depending on what you've got wrong, and the number of such things, my reaction will vary from politely commenting and making a suggestion, to asking how many times your mother dropped you on your head.

If you're going to rp with me, please, for the love of your God, make it literate. Too many people nowadays have horrible spelling and grammar skills. If you or I see an insane amount of grammar problems with your posts, just drop out of the rp before I blow a gasket(sp?). Also, I have yet to read the rules on what sorts of roleplay can be done here, but if you're going to be doing things that involve touching of another character's sexual parts without their clothes on, do it in Private Messaging if people complain.

One last thing. I have a small range of characters that advanced RP'ers call 'OCs', which stands for Original Characters. These are characters that you make based entirely, or almost entirely, on your own design. Usually, such characters stay with you, and become basically for your use only. So if anyone sees me name a character with a name they've seen in another roleplay I've been in, don't get upset.

P.S.S.S. I'll be gone tomorrow(Saturday) due to a pool event being held in Lufkin by my Sargeant(sp? Never was good at spelling Sargeant and Lieutenant.). So don't freak out when you notice I'm not posting or anything.

You go back to school in three days toooo? (Well, it's two for me, and it's for band camp, but still.) Congrats on being a senior(?)!

I hope I'll be a senior. Never got my report card...

And "just lemme know's" are ok. But people constantly asking 'Can you tell me if there's anything wrong with it at this moment?' are the ones who really get to me.

I think your own pet peeves are pretty much of all ours as well. I'm sure you won't have to worry about most of that here. As for the pure sexual posts, those are restricted to PM only.

In all honesty, this board is a haven for people who are good at role playing and are serious about it. I don't think you'll have to worry about most people where your peeves are concerned. I know that I, for one, am quite literate, and I actually have a talent for spelling and grammar, so if you ever want anyone to go over the errors and whatnot of your posts or writing, feel free to let me know ((you wouldn't be the first)). By the way, you did spell gasket correctly. ^^_^^
